Oh well least DAI won(though like Rah said, there was very few strong competiitors to begin with), it's my second favorite game of the year(Persona Q being my 1st and Bayonetta 2 following DAI)

Very few games stood out this year, most where fun games but that's it.

2014 was exceptionally terrible so not at all surprised that DAI got GOTY for this year since there were really few strong competitors. At least 2015 can't possibly be as weak as 2014..

No!! Don't tempt fate, it always makes things worse  -_-

2015 is going to suck for video games, mark my words.

2015 has:

*The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

*Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires

*Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

*Arkham Knight

*Halo 5: Guardians

*Star Wars: Battlefront (the reboot)

http://en.wikipedia....in_video_gaming

That's 6 games, 3 really, seeing as how Halo 5 and Star Wars: Battlefront is wait-and-see for me (Dice hasn't made anything I've liked since Battlefield Bad Company 2).

I don't expect things to pick back up until at least 2016 or 17 and hopefully we'll get a new single player Elder Scrolls or Fallout.

You forgot to count Pillars of Eternity and SOMA.  The Wikipedia page listed Torment: Tides of Numenera, but c'mon, we all know it's going to get delayed.

Oh snap, is SOMA really coming out next year? I hope that's for real and they don't keep delaying it like they did Machine for Pigs.

Pillars of Eternity is my most anticipated game of 2015, but Routine looks good too. It takes place on the moon.

I'd wait until E3 before saying there will be no games. We won't know everything yet.

And of course there's the fact that everyone likes different genres meaning for one there will be many, and for another there will be few.

Street racing fans like myself have been SOL ever since EA booted Black Box.

Get ready to wait then. inXile is as bad with deadlines as Lockheed Martin.

If more time will help them with a more stable product then they can take as long as they need tbh.

Right now I only want to get Valkyria Chronicles, Space Hulk Ascension and Galactic Civilization III.

Woohoo!

When I change my graphic card I can play lots of older games I couldn't play smoothly on max graphic right now:

Assassin's Creed 4

Witcher 2

Shadow Warrior

Sleeping Dogs

Skyrim

and I'll get some other too:

Arkham Knight

DA:I

Tropico 5

etc.

Now you're jealous of me!

No, I don't have a PC capable of playing anything, so I don't care about them. If they get a console release, I'll definitely be excited.

2015 sounds great to me tbh. A bunch of games I want, and finally enough incentive to entertain the idea of getting a PS4 or One.

And that's just been what's announced so far.

Maybe it isn't as big for the bigggg titles, but for the kinds of games I like, it'll be better than 2014.

Oh yeah I'm really looking forward to PoE and Torment! Kickstarted Torment and just waiting patiently for the date it is released (2015-2016).

Nope, my laptop has severe overheating issues and cannot be relied upon to play games, my family desktop computer is at least 6 (probably 7) years old. I'm not tech savy enough to pick out a great computer and I don't have the funds at the moment, although I do have a specific person in mind to help me pick out a strong PC when that time comes. So 2015 or 2016, eventually

If I were to have a strong computer I would be really interested in Star Citizen, which I have kept a wandering eye on.

Don't hold your breath.

I won't, that's why I am not excited now.  ;)

2015 - Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance and possibly Dragon's Dogma 2, that's all I need.

Eh, I think if Pillars of Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera have low graphics and aren't like Divinity: Original Sin, you can play them on a system with 2Gb of ram, Intel HD 4000 or old graphic cards and single core Pentium 4 2.0Ghz hardwares.

I traded in Inquisition today and got $43 in store credit at GameStop. I only paid $23 for the game originally and it was the deluxe edition. I used that credit to buy Wolfenstein, which was only $35 used and renewed my membership for another year. Total money spent today on games was $7.98.

I can tell you this much.

Nobody is going to play Torment for anything other than its writing.
