So, I am getting more and more into this multiplayer and the more I play it, the more I like it. Encountering a few questions though:

1. I am kinda confused as to what the game sees as magic damage and what as ranged damage. For example the simple ranged attacks of wraiths, are they just that, so they inflict ranged damage? And if so, if they transform due to another demon, is their damage then still ranged or is it magic damage?
2. Do the different elemental damage types (electricity, spirit, fire, ice, poison) get reduced by getting magic defense or is it seperate? Seperate as in damage is build up out of two categories, element (possibly none) and type (melee/ranged/magic).
3. Do fear demons, terror demons and the demon commander use spirit damage?
4. Slightly breaking away from the topic, do mages also increase their damage by flanking? And can their staff attacks crit? (I remember something vague about staffs not being able to crit, but also not being able to miss from DAO)
