Is this quest bugged, is the marker pointing in the wrong place, or am I overlooking something? There's never any sign of Widris in that clearing where the quest marker points, no matter how thoroughly I search the area, inside and outside the clearing. I got the thing that initiates the quest, and picked up a waterlogged diary somewhere else (can't remember where), but Widris fails to appear.

 

I admit I could have missed something otherwise obvious, but I generally check everywhere for loot and codex stuff (though I don't usually read the latter in the moment).

You should have found a...(forgot the name) Apostate hideout or something north of the highlighted clearing, poke around the northern wall and you should be able to find the entrance to it.

Aha! I didn't even think to go through the water there. Thanks, I finally got the quest complete.
