Is this a joke. I'm not laughing. Are you honestly comparing a few jagged edges to faces missing and falling through walls?

Clearly more issues than a few jagged edges....

http://answers.ea.co...p/DAInquisition

Anyway, I'm clearly enjoying the game with 97 hours clocked according to Origins. I'd say 90% of that is DAMP, I'm finding the SP to be pretty dull and boring.

The game is full of game breaking bugs, you should read the sob stories that some people are writing on the forums.

I haven't came across a single one. I have come across one for Sunset Overdrive.

I am a hardly a sheep that will just trust a so called "expert opinion" when from recent events we've seen time and time again that "critics" are biased including Keighly. At the end of the day we're not given a reasonable reason as to why DA:I was picked. And then you jump to the conclusion that I didn't like DA:I.

"you" can be used as plural conversation pronoun you know :) I said nothing about your tastes specifically.

Even so, I am not saying that you have to agree with those expert opinions if you don't wish to do so.

I only stated that you cannot claim that an award given by some people is undeserved when you have no insight on the selection process. It is not your award to give.

P.S. The Game Awards are a renowned event in the video game industry. It's the equivalent of the Grammys. You can dislike it of course, but the judges are not a random bunch of noobs :)

That's insane. Vanilla NWN was pure garbage. There were essentially no party members, you could only control one character, there wasn't a functional companion AI, old features from BG2 didn't exist
..

The idea that NWN was even an OK game is ridiculous.

Nope, wrong, DA:I is pure single player MMO button mashing garbage. NWN is a good game although the narrative of the OC was a bit lackluster and BW cut corners on world design.

Seriously, if you hate the game so much why are you here?

Is it just to ****** on Bioware or something?

Congratulations. It does not happen everyday that you receive such a splendid, no, glorious(!) reward for delivering a bugged game where one of the main races is broken(http://forum.bioware...d-its-problems/). I'm glad that gaming industry aspires to the norms of modern business practise.

Fix the bugs and I will say: It is a great game, but(...). For now it is one big greasy 'but'.

We'll agree to disagree. I really love Dragon Age and I'm happy they won. I just don't think 1 month in makes you game of the year. Compared to last year I'll give Keighly the benefit of imporiving the award show.

Are you kidding? DA:I is the buggiest and most unpolished AAA game released this year.

I think Halo: MCC, and Assassin's Creed Unity will compete heavily for that title.

Don't even get me started on Thief or Drive Club.

You haven't said one thing about NWN that makes it a good game. List three features - hell list two - that were good.

VGA, its judges that have been bribed by EA to win the awards to boost sales before Xmas.

Dark Souls 2 and Bayonetta 2 where more deserving, both games had time to prove themselves and got their patches, not DAI

Prove it or shut it.

In the thread about how the game is recognized for its awesomeness? Probably to celebrate it being awesome.

This is a less scathing reply. I'll go with it :P

Because I played it for a hundred hours already and have promised myself I won't start my second run until January.

Solid rule system
Good character development system
Good itemization
Solid main quest
Interesting side quests and side content
Pretty decent writing
Pretty decent UI
Good economy
Not a cheap hack and slash single player MMO like DA:I

Okay, that was more two. Anyway, it's your turn. Why do you think that this tacticless single player MMO button masher is better than NWN?

What a crying shame, someone might mistakenly take this seriously when considering purchase.  Poor sods.  :(

The only game that was "finished" was probaby Bayonetta 2.

It could have been worse. IIRC the henchmen were a late addition. With their typical obsessive focus on MP, Bio didn't realize that nobody wanted to play the campaign as co-op MP until only a few months before release.

Button masher? I thought the objection was that we have to hold a button down, or something.

- It's filled with characters I love - not just the inner circle, but the entire Inquisition and many of the other NPCs as well.

- It has a story that goes beyond 'go to four places and collect four things, rinse and repeat.'

- You get to control your whole party! And you actually have a party, unlike certain other games I could mention. These characters have relationships with each other and banter.

- It involves meaningful exploration of a beautiful environment and it all looks amazing. (OK, it's not the fault of NWN that early 3D graphics have aged so badly, but still.)

- The music, sound design and voice acting are all fantastic.

- There's a deep and engaging crafting system.

- There's the war table where we get to catch up with many old friends (and the occasional enemy) from previous instalments.

- Nuggalopes.

... wait, I really should have started with that. I don't think I need another argument: you can ride nuggalopes, therefore Inquisition is wonderful.

Well, you hold down one button while mashing the other buttons MMO style.

You mean, I use my characters' abilities? What's wrong with using abilities?

To be honest, these forums are leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I really hoped people here would enjoy a great game, but instead all of the threads devole into a whinefest and constant bashing of Bioware.

Oh, and I agree with you, it's always the same people. What do they gain from it?
