Here is the video for just the DA:I nomination clip alone, for anyone who has yet to see it:

Congrats Bioware. There isn't a dev team that I respect more than you guys  <3

(clealry couldn't have done it without obligatory bare-chested Cullen  :D)

Play the game with keyboard and mouse.  Then you will understand why the game is incomplete.  Bugs being in the game are inevitable with a game of this size.  The complete lack of keyboard and mouse functionality in all facets of the game are what makes the game incomplete.

You wouldn't be very happy either if you bought a new Ferrari only to find out it had the dashboard was missing and it had the transmission of a 1983 Ford Pinto in it.

I play with keyboard and mouse.  It took some experimentation.  A whole whopping hour or so.

Learn to play.

Golden joy stick award has more weight than this 'game of the award'.

http://thegameawards.com/nominees/

Just look at the judges, nothing but international media you know like the ones that gave DA 2 such excellent reviews. Looks more like EA paid to win GOTY.

Let's see, I count 4 EU judges, 3 UK judges, 1 Canadian, 1 Japanese, and 19 US judges. Boy, that is sure "nothing but international media".

So, do you just specialize in saying wrong things or...?

I must have forgotten the part where SWTOR didn't have tooltips, since gamepads can't hover over an icon, or that inventory system you had to up and down arrow down through instead of a grid system, because, again, gamepads...

My analogy still stands because DA:I on a high end PC is a Ferrari, it's absolutely gorgeous and a great game, but it still has that Pinto transmission in it and if I wanted a Pinto Transmission I would have just bought a Pinto to begin with.  My Ferrari is incomplete until I get a Ferrari tranny in it, which in this case, is a UI and Tac camera that actually utilize the mouse and keyboard and the ability to do simple things, like map buttons to my mouse...

So DAI wasn't worthy of GOTY because it didn't have a small quality of life tooltip so you can read your abilities outside of the abilities screen? First world problems much? The nitpicking with this game is amusing, I'll give you that. People always find the littlest things to complain about.

I'm also loving all the 'DAI shouldn't have won, awards must have been bought" or "DAI shouldn't have won, these awards aren't important tho" comments.

Grats Bioware well earned GOTY award.

Bungie dropped the ball by snubbing the P.C community in the harshest way possible.

Call of Duty was more of the same.

AC: Unity is pure rubbish

ES:O is not even remotely an Elder Scrolls game.

Divinity: Original Sin was pulled down by sloppy voice acting and awful UI.

The only real runners were Titanfall and DA: I.

So either way, EA had a GOTY award in the bag, glad it was DA: I that won it

I feel compelled to toss a Ferrari-on-fire joke in there somewhere. I'm always a bit wary of car analogies when it comes to computers or software, but I think it might be more accurate to compare this to buying a Ferrari, but the computer system simply doesn't make the most of its drive train. Obviously, aside from the fact that a Ford Pinto engine would probably keel over and die with Ferrari's V8/12 attached to it, Enzo Ferrari himself would spin at 12,000 RPM in his grave.

I understand mileages vary greatly when it comes to how individual players approach this game, but I'm not sure if the tac cam is as vital to this game as a transmission is to a car.

Anyway, congrats to the BioWare team! This is well-deserved, and I eagerly await whatever else is in store for Inquisition, and I can't wait to see what their next game is like.

Oh wrong thread sorry.... Congratz Bioware well earned!

Now if EA corporate can learn from this.

Hopefully .....the next Mass Effect installment is NOT morphed into some kind of trash garbage Call of Duty or Battle Field 4.

I have a feeling Inquisition has sent a very clear message to Bioware and EA, in regards to what people want from the next Mass Effect. Which is great, to say the least.

DAI is a very good game, but I would choose Mordor.

Mordor has some flaws, but brought some features never seem before...the Nemesis system is a masterpiece, the AI is awesome.

DAI doesnt have this innovative quality, but it is, without a doubt, a very solid game. I hope the DLCs will bring more complexity and deph, removing for once this MMOish feel the game have.

Anyway, congrats BioWare!

Congratulations, Bioware!  :wizard:   I've seen and read some, and I admit I have been weary of things here and there, but now I know for sure I will get the game as a Christmas gift - and afterwards, I think I need to send my family to Orlais in a "How to learn keeping secrets"

Awwwwww, Mark Darrah thanked us first  . That was very sweet of him. Congratulations to the entire team, it's well-deserved!

And I also would like to thank you all, on BSN, since you are so commited (even those who, unfortunately, have not been able to enjoy the game). It is becuase of you, and Bioware of course, that I can enjoy theese games. Thank you all! :)

Where can I buy Hard in Hightown? :D

But seriously, grats to Bioware, this is well deserved.
