Hey everyone, am starting a nightmare warrior playthrough and am looking for those who have played through the game as a warrior for some insight into a build that uses the 2h abilities as an off tank. Am wondering what spec would be the best to compliement this build as well as the best abilities to allow for high damage output with the ability to take pressure off the tank. Thanks everyone!

Since as off tank you will not need taunts/Vanguard and since some abilities in 2H tree do not work as advertised according to reports in this board - Mighty Blow and Shatter for example -  Battlemaster offers itself. Later Reaver for damage? btw you can tank it yourself as 2H on NM. Compliment what build? Knowing your tank build would help.

The rest I'll leave to FallenOasis, otherwise this will be a long post.

K first of attack is not accuracy. In this game attack is straight up damage increase. Then sunder arms and armour? are you sure you even writing for the right game? And we do not have sustainable . Seriously post for the right game.

You guys are completely right... I must of jumped the gun ignoring the Inquisition tag 'cause I absolutely love Origins. Dragon Age II, not so much. (srry it just plays differently... story still good though). I'll rip down old post or erase its contents, since it doesn't apply here.

Don't worry about it. All you did was make me wish I still had a copy of the first game!  :D

I understand the feeling! I still do a playthrough from time to time on it. I had it for Xbox 360 first and got the PC version this past year on Steam. However, I am saddened that both Dragon Age II and Inquisition are not available on Steam... Guess BioWare decided Steam was inadequate? idk.

For the OP, I'm sorry to cause conversation off-topic to your question. I wish I could be further help but I have never played Inquisition (sucks Blood Mage is gone, but then again, Necromancy...). I hope someone can help you out further. It seems Animation Cancelling isn't an available feature of Inquisition by what Biotic Flash has stated. If this is so, it could be quite hard to both anticipate the battlefield as to not become interrupted (such as by paralyze, freezes, disorients, etc.) and the aftermath recovery of an attack, if the animation sluggishly continues. Again, I'm not familiar with Inquisition, so please take it with a grain of salt.
