I didn't know dragons melt...

I wonder how long it'd take to kill the lvl 24 lizard this way...

I looked at the screen for 10 seconds after the video ended and then burst out laughing over how hilariously simple that looked

Quality Bioware balance design.

Inquisition combat is broken in the same way as DA:O

Yea it had a lot of problems, but it was nowhere near as bad as Inquisition. I'm actually replaying Nightmare in DA2 at this very moment myself. Cheers!

IMO, DA2 actually have the best combat gameplay out of all three

And DAO is as bad as Inquisition

Upgraded Static Cage and a truck load of small hits. Static Cage does 50% weapon damage every time the mob takes damge, then you add abilites which unload a shitload off hits fast like Energy Barrage and Flask of Lightning with weapons that have enchants that cast a skill that adds even more hits on the mob and well... that happens.

Double static cage would be even faster + can drop firestorm (against non fire resistant enemies) and thousand cuts on top. Firestorm can actually outdamage thousand cuts on certain enemies... Nothing in the game has enough health though

Makes me wonder why Bioware kept stuff like in the OP in the game. Its unlikely that they would not know about it. Perhaps, they told themselves: Well, most players will not experience it during their game play and those who will .. will post vids about it. Same with Mark of the Rift. This I win button is probably aimed at different target audience than the one I come from but since I do not have to use it its alright.

Lucky you. aha!

I have found way too many ways to break the game by now, it's getting ridiculous. But hey, it's amusing at least!

Well, Thousand Cuts is too powerful IMO (even excluding the Flask of Fire - Focus bug).

Even at Tier 2 it eats 1/3 of bosses health on Nightmare. It's riddiculous. And that's without Static Cage or any weird buffs,

Thats actually what I found impressive. Its not hard to smash Dragon using focus.

The Griffon Bow is OP though. You get it pretty late in the game though.

You don't really need griffin bow either... but it would take maybe 5 seconds without it.

You an kill Frostback at level 3. It's been done quite a while ago as well. Mostly abusing the range of aggro.

Yeah but that's an kind of an exploit, isn't it?

This works.  Or you could just use Thousand Cuts.  You can one-shot a bunch of the dragons on Nightmare with Thousand Cuts if you stack some damage bonuses.

Now I'm thinking Static Cage + Thousand Cuts.  Hilarity will ensue.

You can also oneshot non fire immune dragons with firestorm, but since its damage is more spread out in time it's not that fast. Necro's haste gives you a huge damage spike (in game time, not in real time), so potentially it can be the most damaging focus with strong party. Static cage spam through flashpoint is fun too. There are way too many ways to cheese these fights.
