I just purchased and installed a copy of ME2. The launcher starts up, the config utility works, but the game wont start up when i click play. A tiny window just appears and sits there. If needed here are my system specifications they should be adequate to play the game. i am currently updating my display drivers to see if that will work.
Windows 7 Professional 32bit
Intel core 2 duo E6300 overclocked to 2.8 GHz
3GB DDR2 800 ram
ATI Radeon 4670 512MB
Mass Effect simply wont run

Inverness sorry to dissappoint but installation for me went without a hitch, hell i have a 11.4 GB folder like you specified. im still not sure what is going on here

more news, an update of the ati drivers is not a fix for this problem. also running the exe in administrator mode is also not working.

turns out the inability to run was solved when i solved a small problem my rig has been having for a few weeks. it actually runs now thanks for the help everyone
