Playing this game on Nightmare and I swear half the time it just gets to the point where theirs just too much enemies , half the time there not even the Grunts. Just one more Act and I can finally play the new Dragon Age game ah I can't wait ![]()
But what do you guys think of that statement? the reason why I say this is cause I just did the gauntlet near the Golem for the Nexus thing. Rage Demon , Desire Demon , Adomination , Arcane Horror's , Revenant and Shade's ...jesus that was a just tedious.
It almost gets to the point where theres too much going on

I played as a mage on nightmare and I have to admit that some combats got difficult. I didn't pay much attention to tactics though, so maybe I could have done better. FF was really bad too. Having my tank frozen each time my mage used Winter Grasp, or having my rogues killed because Fenris used Mighty Blow made things extra difficult. I don't remember having these issues in Origins, although maybe I forgot (haven't played it in a while)

I found the combat on Nightmare for Dragon Age II more drawn out. Enemies soak so. much. damage. to the point where something that was a 10 minute engagement on any other difficulty suddenly became a 45 minute affair. I had to tell my team to focus on a single enemy, wearing them down with the combined efforts of all four members of the party, before moving onto another single enemy. And then the next wave would spawn, and it just continued.
I admit, my one time playing on Nightmare probably didn't steer me in the direction of learning effective strategies and combinations; I played it as as war of slow attrition more than anything else. But no, Dragon Age II was another animal entirely. Nightmare for Origins and Inquisition was never as exhausting.
