The most boring, predictable, cliched, and lazy Bioware plotline ever.

Yep indeed.

At least he has, in the extended cut (was a HUGE problem in the original ending), a fleshed out character, who made his points, and fit the theme of the series not only how he was created, but what he is doing. He did more than what Corphyeus does in a full game and a DLC.

LMAO

Oh god, I can't breath. My sides, they hurt I can't accept someone being this serious, it has to be a joke, right guys.

Corypheus was an active villain who managed to gain an army to beat the crap out of you in the game

And yet not active enough to present his case in a full fledged manner.

"When fire burns is it at war?"

Yeah I'll take Cory over the brat any day.

Less pretentious bullshit that way.

Also, DA:I doesn't have Kai Leng, so that makes it better already by default.

No, thats him being a villain, not understanding what organic life is about. He basically proved Shepards point, althroughout the conversation, that the Reapers don't understand them. Fans simply aren't smart enough to pick this up. It isn't prentious.

And here is the thing, its not fully fleshed out. He simply does not flesh out his ideal world to the player. Bioware doesn;t even bother.

"You don't understand me" and "you don't understand us" is pretty damn pretentious.

Let's just compare their opening scenes. Cory at Haven. Badass and fantastic dialog. Star Brats scene? Worse then a 1st graders story.

No no no! Kai Lame is just another example of the Deep and meaningful themes at work in ME3! Which I totally don't like all that much even though I will mindlessly drone about it forever!

Did you actually play the game? He wants to bring back Ye Olde Tevinter and reign over them as a god, effectively usurping the Old Gods as the figure of worship.

He wants to enter the Black City and becomes a god to make the world the way he wants it to be

This, but his motivation is really interesting. He got completely disillusioned when he saw there was no one in the Black City. He was the high priest, his god lied to him, and the other god wasn't there. He can't imagine a world without a god so he decides to become one. So he's a 'dark messiah' type. He thinks the world can't exist without a god so he wants to become one since all the other contenders are gone (as far as he knows). That his attempt would destroy the world if it succeeded is apparently lost on him, but hey, he's crazy.

That's been done too, but not nearly as much as 'I will become a god because I'm so awesome and I deserve to rule everything'. There's more than just megalomania at work here.

Um yes it was fleshed out and even Calpernia(his second in command) explains his vision in even more detail and even goes as far as stating how Cory WILL achieve his goal. Really you give crap to othes with the "YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND IT" yet here you are, doing the samething.

I love ME3 and all, but for all of DA:I's faults, the game put a big smile on my face throughout, even the ending and post credits. Can't say the same for my beloved space opera game. There's not a single moment in ME3 that compares the the Haven to Skyhold scene for me.

He also creates his own personal dragon to resemble a Archdemon. The ultimate FU to his old master.

And not every villain needs to do that, Cory's ideal world goes against everything people stand for in Thedas (except the Venatori and part of Tevinter)

Hey guys, remember how in the fable the billy goats sat there and argued with the troll on the bridge?  You're doing that now.  Just take another damn bridge already.

Than fully flesh it out. Have more argument with the player. It seems instead having a natural rivalry between the Herald and Coryheus, its forced on the player. You simply do not get the clash of ideas like with Saren, Meredith, or The Illusive Man, hell, even the Catalyst (he deflects the argument). Maybe only briefly in Haven, but the endgame is so rushed, and this rivalry is more told, not shown, that it hurts Corypheus being a full fledged villain.
