I tried to skip the intro scene after creating my character.

This results ending up in some kind of empty wasteland with no acces point. In front of me is a tall black rock with stairs (that you can't climb). If I start walking I just end up in some empty snowy mountains.

I want to skip the intro because the game crashes in the start sequence.

What is the point of this strange empty scenery? How do you get on from this and into the game?

Does nyone know?

It's likely a performance issue, I've noticed sometimes the game doesn't load fast enough for the player's demand when you to skip the cutscenes. Skip it piece by piece.
