Hi guys this is my first post to the forums so I would like to say first what an amazing game DAI is.

My question is Why cant a person see how much armour a crafted item is before you craft it you see I dont want to waste resources on new armour for my legionaire if I cant see if what I am about to craft is better then what I have on.

Any help or links to all armour and weopons is greatly appreciated thanks.

P.s this question relates to multiplayer.

I believe it might be because all armors have a set armor rating. So as far as I've gathered it doesnt matter what materials you use - it will still be the same armor rating. Usually between 50 and 80.

IMO they should add some more unique armors in MP. Personally I have only crafter purples for Katari and Necro and as far as I can see they are the only ones. 87 armor on the Katari (Deathbringer Hide) and 76 on the Necro (Mortalistasi Raiment).

^This.  You can't see that armor rating because the material you use has no impact on the armor created.  The armor rating on a piece of armor is identical to the same piece of armor crafted by someone else.  Crafting the next tier of armor will grant a small increase to armor rating, but it's pretty negligible.

Hay Jbro,

As others have mentioned the materials you use to craft a piece of armor don't affect its stats. However, the materials you use to craft upgrades ( sword grips / blades / hafts ) DO affect the stats. New armor in DAI MP is intended to be a mostly aesthetic change. So your best strategy is to save your rare materials for upgrades and sink the common stuff into new armor ( unless you can't wait ; ) ).
