Might as well leave some feedback FWIW.

I loved DA:O & DA2 (slightly less). I am a fan of all 3 ME games.

I pre-orderd this and have been looking forward to having a free day to play it. Now I doubt I will be doing so again.

It started badly - after all the promises there is no way to import past save games although if you are willing to take the time to wade through an abysmally poorly designed we site you can sort of recreate the choices you made if you don't resetn the fact that evern after the ME3 debacle they still haven't grasped the vbalue we put on the journey and the shape of the world our choices leave behind us. The only suicess is that it sets a new bar for future failure.

Then I got into the game itself - on the upside I encouhtered no bugs.

On the downsides:

- Character creation was a terrible interface and those stupid colour palette things never work properly.

- The character I spent some small time crafting did not remotely resemble the waxwork zombie-like monstrosity I was then supposed to play (and bear in mind I'm running at ultra graphics here).

- The movement and combat system, are an offemce against gaming that should lead to the designers being expelled from the industry for their sake and the sake of gaming itself.

- The simple act of trying to pick up and object or focus on a target in combat fgelt like a massive chore.

In short there was nothing in this game that felt 'fun', no acknowledgement that it was part 3 in a series and no feeling that this game was made in 2014 rather than 1984. Even the graphics which clearly were using up to date tech turned out looking ugly.

I truly hope other people are actually feeling like they made a good purchase and have fun but I am done with DA3 and done with Bioware.

Cool story bro, tell it again

It never gets old when people blame their lack of skill with the CC on Bioware. 10/10 OP, good laugh.

The thing that bothers me a lot is that instead of sticking to an engine they know (like ME did) they picked up a new capable engine that they didn't know how to use and released 3rd game in the series.

I really like environments in this game but the rest is terrible. And the more I play the more I hate the tactic mode and its stupid mark/pointer/call it whatever you want on the ground that gets stuck on everything.

The only hope inall this is that they will learn on Inquisition and actually use the engine properly when building next Mass Effect game

You've played a game with a minimum of 60+ hours of gameplay for 1 hour and you've drawn your conclusions about its quality?  It only took me an hour to realize I hated the melee combat system, too, I give you - but that's just an annoyance in what is otherwise a fantastic game.  If you really think the graphics suck I question the quality of your video card, because I've been privy to some fantastic visuals.  You don't like the look of your character?  Rebuild it - that's a danger with all of these higher end character designers; nothing new to this game.  You want to include your choices from the previous playthroughs?  There's an app (or website rather) for that.

There is simply no way you can make an informed decision about this game in 1 hour and your opinion of the game, after that time, means next to nothing.  Play for ten hours, come back after doing the second story mission, then tell us if you still feel the same.  Otherwise, just vanish quietly into the night and let the people who have played long enough to provide actual, informed critique do so. (And yes, there are places where the game could be stronger, but playing for an hour and reading a few threads here isn't going to give you a real understanding of the experience.)

No worries, OP. You're not the only one that has issues with the game. Sadly, this website is like a hive-mind. And any opinion spoken that doesn't invole "artistic masterpiece" is all but immediately shut down. I assume EA still pays people to post on websites like this, shame these people can't get a real job.

Yes, it's not like the things people tend to complain most about are ridiculous or anything.

Tbf you could replace 90% of the posts on this forum with 'LEAVE BIOWARE ALONE!! :'(' and nothing of substance would be lost.

Good, you'll have more time to work on your spelling. Now, can I have the extra 3 minutes I had to work against those typos trying to make sense of this post?

So we can assume those who are found high-fiving strange criticizers (like those judging a game in one hour) in every thread are both jobless and irritated that EA isn't paying them?

Oh for god's sake. From your first post, you clearly know that the Keep exists. If it's such a big deal to you, suck it up and log into the keep to enter your choices like everyone else. You don't get to complain that the game doesn't let you import choices when it does and you already know exactly how to do it.

To be fair, the keep doesn't do the best job of explaining a situation and why you would have made the decision that you did. I hadn't played DA:O in over 2 years, I couldn't remember choices like the ones people make in Warden's keep and I never did any of the DA2 DLC, so I had to rely upon the wiki to try and figure out what decisions my character would have made at the time. Sure people will probably remember their big choices, but it easy to forget the small ones, and those are the ones that Devs. can have fun with.
