Hoping they stay away from Tevinter; writing more "blame the mages" bullsh*t is not what we need. Even though that's exactly what they'll do because of "artistic integrity".

I really hate what they've done with Tevinter, they had a very interesting set-up with lots of moral conundrums. Is a mageocracy really worse than the south's oligarchies? Does the south really have the right to condemn slavery when you compare the coditions of their alienages?. Plus the allure of an entire society based on mental will, and arcane scholarship, how cool is that?
In-game they threw the entire thing out the window to give us a country of mustache twirlers, who provide nothing to the narrative besides a go to foreign villain. Even the Qunari are sometimes portrayed sympathetically (Sten), with Tevinter the only "good" ones, are political dissidents who want to completely upend society (Dorian), slaves (Fenris, Tallis), or complete neutrals who care nothing about Tevinter culture or customs (Krem).
So yes I agree stay away from Tevinter, or at least portray in a more morally grey light.
