So can we all agree that the lack of cinematics is contributing to the main story feeling short?

Next question.

What is the sound of one hand clapping?

It's either "CL" or "AP" depending on if you're left or right handed.

He is actually right - the sound of clapping with one hand actually differs depending on which hand you are using. No idea why but it is rather amusing.

Since I hate sitting through cutscenes, the fact that they're shorter and fewer is a very good thing. I thought the cinematics on the main quests were outstanding.

But shorter and fewer just made the world feel more like a MMO with dialog rather than that cinematic experience that Bioware has been building since KOTOR.

I believe Bioware went overkill on the areas to explore. They cut down cinematic resources in order to build more maps and like 80% of the maps have no core plot points there. They are just massive lands full of sidequest and leveling opportunities.....much like a MMO.
