Dragon Age Origins got the Game of the Year 2010 award, and it was totally deserved. I am sorry but I just don't think (and it seems I am not the only one) Dragon Age Inquisition deserves this award as much. Anyway, I am still glad for the Bioware people, whom I am sure worked very hard and did their best in spite of some wrong choices made by the ''top management''...
I really would be interested in someone who tried to objectively describe how Dragon Age Origins is better than DA:I. It's amazing to me how so many people loved DA:O, yet the people who loved it have such vastly different opinions about DA:I. I loved DA:O for the story, companions, and ability to mold your main character...and I love Dragon Age Inquisition for the same thing, except I think it gave even more to do outside of that.
Anways. I agree with the OP.
Congrats Bioware! Regardless of whether some people loved it or not, it's obvious that you guys put a ton of work into the characters, environments, and story. I also enjoyed the combat myself (mainly sword and shield warr). I hope that regardless of people's opinions, Bioware uses this game as a staple for how much content they should put in a game (both story, combat, and optional sidequests that some people will like and others will ignore.) I can't think of another game in history i have sunk so many hours into so quickly, yet still felt like I had a ton more to do (partially because of banter bug, THIS IS MY ONE GRIPE. FIX IT BIOWARE
.)
