Congratulations for winning: Game of the Year for Dragon Age: Inquisition!  It is your moment for all of your hard work, you folks at Bioware!  For the long hours you all put into this massive, beautiful world , you do deserve this recognition.  I celebrate with you!  Cheers!  :wizard:  :wizard:  :wizard:

Special note: Please keep this topic positive. The game has been in development for about five years.  That is many long hours put into this breathtaking world and with dialogues I enjoy.

5 years of development and male elf's arms are broken? One of the main races is broken and it destroys RPG-immersion, their arms are fractured around elbows/shoulders and glued to the ribcage during cutscenes.  Race that has been promised to look good, I know that designs change and everything is a subject to change during development but the elf created for the sake of promotional materials is not even possible to recreate in the game. http://forum.bioware...d-its-problems/There is a whole mass of obvious bugs. There is nothing positive about it.

I hear you, Kantr, But it is a time to put aside differences of opinion and see the positive aspects of things. Many long hours have been put into this game.  I'm really happy that Bioware wins this Award.

They could have put one billion hours into it. This amount of time only speaks against the product if it has so many obvious bugs.

One in a thousand bug for QA becomes a bug a lot of people get.

I've had a bug free experience (aside from banter)

Errors, that we should have faith that Bioware will resolve. We are reporting those bugs. Anyway, do you enjoy anything about the game?  Let's focus on that. And let's keep this thread positive. You have a thread for that topic.  So, let's handle it there.

I bet my digital spear [------->] that your Solas was bugging during cutscenes.

Errors? It is  one of those in your face bugs. I keep faith in the G-D, not in the companies, and definately not the one that has reserted to 'cave in' PR practise and is avoiding all communication at all costs. I have not played this game since I bought it because of my model being broken. Are there things that I'm looking for? Yes, thousands and I'm eager to explore every little detail of this large and beautiful world, but firstly I need to get *my* race fixed and get 'allowed' to play my RPG the way it should be.

Lol, your digital spear!  Good sense of humor there. I haven't experienced any bugs with Solas.  A positive point from you there: "large beautiful world".  Let's have faith that Bioware will deliver. Thanks for posting, Lord Surinen. Bidding you a wonderful evening/night.

Again, congrats to Bioware.  =)

Same. I've only had a few minor experiences with bugs/glitches.

The "Stroud bug" and when someone or my Inquisitor starts talking it gets really..wonky and then the next line is fixed.

Dragon Age Origins got the Game of the Year 2010 award, and it was totally deserved. I am sorry but I just don't think (and it seems I am not the only one) Dragon Age Inquisition deserves this award as much. Anyway, I am still glad for the Bioware people, whom I am sure worked very hard and did their best in spite of some wrong choices made by the ''top management''...

Except you did, his arms were glued to his ribcage, it is less visible because of his special outfit. Thank you and vice versa, enjoy the waves of silver weaved stars on the sun's cloak.

I really would be interested in someone who tried to objectively describe how Dragon Age Origins is better than DA:I. It's amazing to me how so many people loved DA:O, yet the people who loved it have such vastly different opinions about DA:I. I loved DA:O for the story, companions, and ability to mold your main character...and I love Dragon Age Inquisition for the same thing, except I think it gave even more to do outside of that.

Anways. I agree with the OP.

Congrats Bioware! Regardless of whether some people loved it or not, it's obvious that you guys put a ton of work into the characters, environments, and story. I also enjoyed the combat myself (mainly sword and shield warr). I hope that regardless of people's opinions, Bioware uses this game as a staple for how much content they should put in a game (both story, combat, and optional sidequests that some people will like and others will ignore.) I can't think of another game in history i have sunk so many hours into so quickly, yet still felt like I had a ton more to do (partially because of banter bug, THIS IS MY ONE GRIPE. FIX IT BIOWARE <3.)

Isn't this the wrong section to post that?

And the game hasn't even been out a month yet... WTH.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret my purchase. I don't love the game but I like it. Only because of the story and world.  The combat is boring, I've fallen asleep a couple times while fighting.  >_<

This is the feedback section...where you give feedback for the game. Believe it or not that includes positive feedback, not just complaints about how bad the game is. it is honestly confused sometimes because most of the feedback section on any game is negative.

That's not feedback. That's just announcing who won the award, meaning this could have gone to the Scuttlebutt section where more people can see it... Chill out.

How is congratulating someone for something not feedback, when she also includes how she completely enjoyed the game? I am chill....this is the exact section where you give feedback. Congratulating someone for making a good game and getting an award is feedback. How does that belong in the scuttlebutt section?

This is literally the definition of feedback.

Because it's basically about the reward. Scuttlebutt is like General discussion, I believe. I'm guessing OP wanted to get this across to everyone. Scuttlebutt would have been the best place for it. They could have put it there and added that congratz.

For all those who play the game and judged Florianne... And those who saw it on youtube vid. Alive Florianne, not the box with her corpse.

Her comment is exactly the same as mine on this GA award:

Peh!

5 years of development and all we got was this half-arsed behaviors/tactics system and barely functioning tactical view?

this "award" is a joke!

With regular crashes during Cutscenes and the Wartable the game is not playable. It does not deserve praise.

The game is not playable. Thus I do not have anything positive to say about the game.

Of which eight man-years went into converting the Frosbite 3 engine from a FPS to a RPG. That of itself is telling.
