So what your saying is that if someone doesn't want my advances, I can essentially lobotomize them and make them my sex slave and you're okay with that? Why am I not surprised a templar supporter would say this

HAHAH, I am NOT a templar supporter, so far, far from it..

But anyway, when a person is made tranquil to me the person that they used to be is for all intents and purposes dead. Now it's just a robot with their face, and yeah you can knock yourself out with it.

It just makes more sense for a mundane Inquisitor to either fight the mages, both or ally with the mages and reinstitutionalize the Circles. Yes, I'm aware some of those options aren't possible, but going "full freedom" as a mundane is pretty unrealistic.

Well, a mundane Divine is the one who frees the mages, so... no, I'm not seeing that at all.

She's also easily the third least psychological stable character in mythos.

It can always get worse, that does not make the decision logical or proper. And I dislike the stupid. When magic has time and time again caused literally every major problem in all of Thedas, it'd be stupid to just let mages run wild and free. No, just like we all have to give up freedoms in the name of safety, so too will mages. Especially when they're cage is among the most gilded in Thedas. The real world sucks. They'll get over it.

Oh, I'm sure the mages will come up with some means to protect themselves from demons.

At this point in time, we all have our Divine endings that can leave us content. I think we need no longer try to cast aspersions on each other's endings and can be happy to let each other live and let live.

You assume everyone is satisfied with that. This is a fantasy world, I don't have to follow through with that if I have a choice.

That is.... surprising to hear. :D

It is tiring, isn't it?

They're going to have to address these varying world states sooner or later though. And I hope it blows up in everyone's faces. Except mine.

Well, the only reason to demand that each others' world states go wrong is if we have to be wrong for them to be right.

I'm only kidding. Well, kind of.

I want repercussions for everything.. I just think extreme measures would net extreme repercussions.

And I say that this is unnecessary. We can just leave this part of Thedas, look at something new, and enjoy our victory. And there's no point in setting up Leliana's political position when it was wholly unknown before solely so that she could fail.

They should take notes from Deus ex invisible war, that was something...

Maybe.

That also makes me sad though. I only know southern Thedas. It's the only home I've known. I like the weather.

Some Circle mages are privileged, but I think it's quite a stretch to say that mages have one the most gilded cages in Thedas. And mages aren't giving up trivial freedoms, either. You can't compare being stripped of your inheritance, locked up in a tower, and prevented from raising families to, like, having to deal with zoning laws or whayever.

What I mean is the beginning when they transfer the world state from Deus ex 1, didn't know what to choose so EVERYTHING happened.

I hate the way that was handled.

Similar to the Dragon Breaks in the Elder Scrolls settings. I understand they didn't have the tech back then to incorporate choices in further TES games, but "everything being true" is nonsensical.

Well if you accept them as dragon-people, them existing. Humans and Qunari come from the same continent, and yet humans have no idea what they were until 400 years ago. Hmmm.

Yeah, I really don't care. Nobility's a gilded cage, and literally no mage met so far has ever tried to not to become it. Being poor is overrated.

Nope. That's why it's a discussion board. I think your Divine is psychotic. So do most people in Thedas.

It's not like they've fallen... or that Dorian ever mentions abomination outbreaks being a thing that happens more often over there.

Aside from your being wrong in a diagnostic sense, I'm fairly sure the epilogue says nothing at all about most people in Thedas thinking that Leliana is psychotic.

I think she's naive and overly enthusiastic. And childish.

But not psychotic.

Except for the ancient pyramids that depict horned giants, which would suggest this isn't a recent development for the Qunari.

Well, Leliana allows the mages to govern themselves, allows non-humans to enter the priesthood, and devotes the Chantry to the principal of charity, so I'm not sure why you think she's "psychotic"; she seems to be quite competent and compassionate.
