its a bug then. PC or next gen?.I allied with the mages and never got a war table mission about going to therinfall. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a bug as I also haven't gotten the mission to reconcile Celene and Michel despite pretty much being at the end of the game.

This needs to become a thing, if only for multi-verse alternate timeline craziness.

Sarcasm, though I wouldn't complain if it did become a thing. I just find the idea of a Thedas molded in Alexius' image incredibly funny.

Not happy with time magic and hope they get rid of it. But
Spoiler
Why? It's entirely depending on the Breach existing. And since the Inquisitor closed it, twice, I don't see time magic in the foreseeable future (damn I'm nice).

Nah, that was the Corypheus timeline. I'm talking about the Alexius timeline that Baconer came up with. Alexius basically uses time magic to place himself in strategic points in time to make himself look like a hero eventually culminating in becoming Emperor of all of Thedas. Instead of the HoF slaying the Archdemon he did. Instead of Hawke dueling the Arishok, he did. Instead of Hawke causing the Mage-Templar war, he makes peace by killing Orsino, Meredith, and Anders. When Corypheus shows up he's waiting with the Anchor already in hand.

And rewrote the common tongue! The words for both "good" and "sex" are now Alexius!

heavly implied and somewhat stated that the breach is needed for time magic of that caliber. Statsis is differentIs it Dependant on the breach or if you have enough power any sustained veil tear can be used as a "starting point" to how far back in time you wanna travel.
Guess we'll find out in future instalments

I wonder now that they mage-templar conflict is over, do you think more mundane political schemes, plots and struggles might be able to take the forefront?

Because I dislike Alexius.

It is never over.
