I've gone into the interior part of the village shale is frozen in, but after I killed the last Hurlock I accidentally left the area through the nearby ladder (trying to loot the corpse that was right there).

I'm guessing this prevented a conversation with the survivors from starting up. The shimmering shield is still up, the survivors don't say anything and Shale is still trapped.

Any help?

You don't actually speak with the villagers, you interact with the shield itself.

How exactly? I've moved my cursor over the entire shield. My leaving the area quickly may have bugged something, because I can't find anything to interact with.



I know SOMETHING was supposed to happen.

I am having the same problem as well. I checked everywhere on the force field for a place to interact and nothing. I left the room as well on accident after killing these guys and now i can't interact with the force field or talk to Matthias. Any help would be awesome... i guess i'll try and screw with the files >< hopefully that won't further bug the issue.

i managed to hget into the other side by talking to my party members and my healer jumped over on the other side lol, so i clicked her and just did the quest...yet after i finish it when i go to leave now theres an invisible barrier....i just want SHALE ALRDY
