After all is said and done so far.. Ok, I have a few sections I want to cover Just in a few words:
1) The elves were an empire similar to Orlais / Tevinter where nobility ruled and they had slaves. Noble mages were communicating with the Gods, but then the Dread Wolf sealed them away. Then the slaves revolted and started killing the nobility. Then the elven nobility said ''screw this'' and hid in many different places and went into Uthenera. And the remaining slaves were attacked and defeated by Tevinter and are now City elves / Dalish.
2) There were a bunch of very powerful Spirits / demons that benefited the old Elven society that the elves worshiped as Gods. Then there was this very powerful Dreamer Solas ( Dread wolf ) that could enter the fade physically ( guess he made the orb and the anchor ) and he was so powerful that he was considered on par with the Gods. Then Solas decided that slavery was bad, so he sealed away the Gods by tricking them somehow, so they wouldn't grant powerful magic to the noble classes of elves and that lead to the revolt when slaves started to kill their now weaker masters. Then magisters of Tevinter were called to from the fade by the Gods and tricked into going into the Fade physically and unsealing the Gods and even brought them to Thedas in their physical form, as well as the magisters returned back as the slaves to the Old Gods and the first darkspawn. Now the Gods are pissed off and use the calling and the taint to enslave people and make armies and destroy the world?
3) Taint is just magic done by the Gods. It has some of the effects similar to the well in that it binds people that come into contact with it to the will of the Gods and they can't resist, it also makes one collective of forged memories and a link between the minds. It can be combated by particular magic, which is a part of the joining.
Yes?
Ok now also:
4) How was Cory have free will and is not bound to the Gods like the the rest of the darkspawn? Did he go the Architect way?
5) Why does taint affect lyrium and make it red? Is Lyrium really alive? What is lyrium then?
