ElectricJoke, your challenge quite befits your name. Any challenge in a game like DA3MP is simply who can press w and shift faster and get to the next group of mobs first. I reject your epeen fencing challenge.

You probably have fog graphics bug if you can't see through the blizzard. It is much less of a problem than the firestorm ability which shakes the screen. Blizzard is great for the team by slowing the crap out of everything, and directing aggro onto your ugly necromancer face which is usually fine with ice armor passive. If you think walking bomb is weak then you are probably not choosing the target right or you are not detonating it right. The more enemies there are, the larger the AoE and more AoE DPS and CC cascade you get. It might not be great DPS when there aren't many enemies, but if there is, that is exactly when you want more AoE DPS and CC, and blizzard+walking bomb really shine in situations like holding and blowing up all the enemies at the chokepoint.

Although I personally think necromancer is the most powerful, all four mages are imbalanced to about the same degree, and people can argue inconclusively about which class is best. You make big long posts about how necromancer is bad, but fact is, the mages are the most powerful classes in the game and all are very good in both threatening and perilous, regardless of how much hyperbole comes out of your joking mouth. AW can have ridiculous survivability and a very powerful CC, keeper can almost indefinitely freeze bosses and barrier teammates, elementalists can self-heal and do large area CC and DPS, and necromancer can self-heal and does more AoE CC and DPS according to how many mobs are in the area.

I can solo to wave 5 on threatening with any class, clearing wave 5 is another story. But here is some free perspective for you, take a group of any 4 classes do one run with a Necro then the next run keep everything the same except replace the Necro with any of the other mage classes, the second run will be faster and more efficient, I guarantee it. That being said, soloing also proves nothing as my whole argument is that a Necro doesn't bring as much value to a GROUP than any of the other mages, please give me an intelligent argument on how the Necro is better than a Keeper, and Elementalist, or an Arcane Warrior, be specific, what does a Necro do better than any of those classes that you would want it on a team before one of the other 3? It kills slower, provides no group benefit such as barrier, and the CC it does provide actually is most beneficial in a solo setting because it inhibits the sight of your own teammates while it tics away at a slow pace (the elementalists meator does the same thing but DMG is applied instantly and kills mobs within the first second or two.) , so please explain to me what makes it so awesome in terms other than "learn to play noob, you suck" , and not that I have anything to prove to you random guy I've never heard of, but I am #14 on the leaderboards so I'm probably not a "noob" and I have probably played every class many times over. Please make an intelligent argument as to why any of the points I made are wrong, I am always interested in trying something I may have overlooked. Or just go ahead with more insults and name calling that prove absolutely nothing and make people think UR so L3ET.

You must not be the brightest bulb if you think Necro doesn't synergize. It's called virulence, and it means your assassin will only be seeing backs.

I guess you've never played with coordinated teammates.

Nobody noticed the real purpose of this thread, I mean the higher purpose.
This thread real purpose is to reveal the conditions of this game and to tell bioware that they have to fix this.
Because bioware, this is unacceptable and we NEED a patch.

This is clearly a balance problem.
The pots are killed way too easily by warriors and rogues: nerf those classes.

So the two options are either detonating before PotA or after the decloaking blast. In case of the former, your AW has to be aware and time his fade cloak appropriately.

I think you're forgetting option 3.  Detonate right before Fade Cloak ends to troll the crap out of your AW.

Random ass replies to posts on an entirely different page aside, this thread pretty much symbolizes the MP forums as a whole.  I love it.

Best tank in the game!

Zone-wide taunt skill, stamina-free full 360 block, Zone-wide weaken/sunder/burning (cause they so heated that they can't break you) and the piece de résistance; auto full revive with a 2 second internal cooldown.

My new strategy is going to be to put one of those pots in my pants and then see if that F'er demon commander can harm me.  (I may also cosmetically impress the Templar with her cute sexy accent.)

Oh they'll still kill you alright. You'll just instantly respawn with full health.
