Hey guys. I had a question. I'm not quite sure how building focus works. I can battle several enemies but my focus meter doesn't seem to build. I have three blue diamonds and upwards of 12 incomplete diamonds space that will not fill and I can't get my super. The only time I seem to get a super is when I am closing a rift and once I use my super I cannot get it against other enemies.
Please help.

Hmmm.... so you're not getting any Focus at all in combat? That's rather odd, might be a bug of some sort. Building Focus is quite simple, really. If the in-game description is anything to go by, just attacking enemies builds up your Focus. Now I know that they're certain ways to build up Focus much faster than normal. Like taking the passive skill in the Inquisitor tree that gives you bonus Foucs when you trigger a combo attack with one of your teammates, i.e putting a target to sleep and then striking said enemy with a spell which in turn will trigger nightmare.

 

If your Focus is building rather slow you might want to look into getting that passive skill. If you're not gaining any Focus at all though then I'd reckon that some sort of bug. This game needs a another patch, there's still a bunch of stuff that's buggy. Which is bound to happen with such a huge game.

I build focus very quickly with some party compositions and very slowly with others. Based on my reading in the theorycraft post on this forum, it seems as though some combos (which contribute to building Focus swiftly) are bugged and I think that may be a factor.
