All the normal groups that drop cloth get killed off and don't seem to respawn, so anyone know a place where you can farm tier 3 cloth of any type regularly? There is a nice video out there that shows you where to get silverite and dawnstone, I've got a couple hundred of each. Have also found a good spot to get snowfluer hide, wyvern hide and great bear hide but cloth is messing me up.

Oh sure, Emerald Graves and NE of the Gracevine Camp...around the river area. I make a circle in that area up to where the giants are and back to the camp. Accidentally pulled a giant once while fighting a great bear...don't do that!

Nobody has a spot where people respawn so you can farm them for tier 3 cloth? Does that mean you will eventually run out of tier 3 cloth?

Well you can send Leliana on the gather cloth operation at the war table to get 6 Plush Fustian Velvet at any time (Great Bear Hide and Everite for the Leather and Metal equivalents)

 

Plus there are Red Templars in the hissing wastes, and in the area between the dragon arenas in Emprise du Lion.

The elven ruins in western Emprise du Lion, across the bridge, I've been able to get a lot of spawns. I usually drag the bear down on to the lake and kill it there, then it often respawns immediately after dying.

The respawning Templer should drop Tier 3 cloth, but I don't think there is a spot that would really let you "farm" it (and frankly there shouldn't, farming in a single player game is...not good). 

I have different gear I carry around based on the encounter I'm going into so I craft a lot for my mage. Also, you can farm all the ores, hides and plants so farming cloth should be an option also. I mean, there is literally a run you can do for silverite and dawnstone and all you have to do is leave the zone and come back. I've got about 300-400 of each. Greater bears spawn almost one right after the other in the area I run and snowfluer...you just have to run on the ice and in Emprise du Lion for them to spawn in front of you. So yeah, farming is a thing for everything except cloth. I may play a warrior on my next play through just so I don't have to worry about it.

I'd like to know what enemies drop Highever Weave and Darkened Samite and where I can find them...

I always run into a group of red templars just before the Tower of Bone in Emprise du Lion when on farming runs. It's just past another tower, Drakon's Tower (it has red lyrium growing out of it). I've gotten a fair amount of dales loden wool and plush fustian velvet from them, and they are always there.

Highever I think drops mainly from darkspawn. As for darkened samite, not sure. I found the few I have in chests.

Wish I could give you some of mine - I have stacks of it, and quite a few Fade-touched pieces

Of course, what I want is Infused Vyrantium Samite, and I always find Templar camps in the Wastes instead of Venatori!

Haha, it's exactly the other way around for me. I keep reloading my saves at certain locations and the first thing I notice is that intrusive whispering/muttering, it's driving me nuts. ;X

Does someone know a decent map for the venatori camps in hissing wastes? I seem to wander all the time without finding them.

 

Do the camps despawn after clearing the level? I haven't cleared Emprise, and Red Templars just flood the zone.

Try reloading at the Statue Camp. I've found that a group of Venatori/Red Templars have a chance to spawn fairly close there.
