This I can believe, it (typically) takes DNS 24 hours time to propogate out to the rest of the world, so a variety of email smtp servers may not automatically send to this address just yet.

Guess I will just go back to playing Fallout 3 again.

It amazes me that it is taking them so long to deal with this. They must think that only kids play games. I am no kid(not by a long shot). I am not going to just roll over and say "oh well". Believe me it ain't the $60. It is the principle that they can screw up like this and not take any responsibility(ok maybe biermania can do something, but I ain't holding my breath) Unlike kids many of us "older" folk know how to deal with poor customer service. This whole issue has got me so irritated that I am going to make a big stink and continue until there is resolution. If no resolution then there will be an even a bigger stink.



I was just starting to like buying games from EA. I didn't like the steam because their interface has to be running in order to play games from them. EA was easy, dl's were quick. Seemed no muss no fuss. But I can pretty much say I am probably going to go back to buyig from brick and mortar stores. Problem is I live in the deep dark woods and no software stores within an hours drive. Guess I will need to plan ahead.

Brazil is Jan 28 at 23:00 CET (which is GMT+1) - the same as parts of Europe

Ok so, while having nothing better to do, I've now re-downloaded all 10.82 gig setup from D2D and will attempt re-install and see how that goes..... stay tuned....(I feel like im starring in a daytime soap)

Like I said Thedoric, I'm going to give this guy enough time for the benefit of the doubt, and if it fails or falls through then I guarantee you I know PLENTY of people who would jump all over it media and otherwise, but I'm a patient man so long as someone shows at least INTENT for reperation.

Interesting enough... I thought I would re-download the game from GameStop... when I went to the email (I am at work)... it came back and said I was not authorized to download that game from this region. Now my work servers actually are going through an IP that comes out in Virginia... even though I am in Texas. Either way... I cannot download it because... ??

I have a meeting I have to be in, the other email does not seem to work either. Hopefully by the time I get out we'll have that issue resolved and we can start working on the resolution to these problems.

That would be a question for GameStop as that would be their servers.

So what you're saying is that EA Store sold one thing and delivered another? When we do have an EA Store email saying one date specifically and a software effectively blocking it till another date?

To me that's false advertising.
