Okay, you should be unlocked in Belgium. Please also go to this site:
http://www.maxmind.com/app/locate_ip
and make sure it thinks you are in Belgium.

Okay... I am back on... and I have GOOD NEWS!
I took the advice and started thinking about the IP and firewall issue. I thought maybe the software that did the check might have the issue... so I removed my firewall in this way...
I am currently using U-Verse from AT&T... typical setup... cable comes in... goes to a router... then to my PC...
What I changed... I unplugged from the router and stuck in my USB modem from Verizon that I use on my laptop... now I am online without any protection per se.
I connect and it does the check... guess what... IT WORKS. However, I get a DWC.DLL issue... okay... np... I disconnect since wireless connectivity is always alittle patchy.
I hook back up my regular internet and try it again... it asks me to register the game... then asks me to log in to EA... and poof I am up and running in the game.
So what does this tell us??
The issue seems to be with the actual software and how it checks the IP address... since it is served up as DHCP to me... after the router... it was not able to authenticate my system... and thus thought/assumed it was out of date since nothing came through.
I hope this helps others...

I would not hang your PC out unprotected on the internet for any reason. Tests have shown infection in under a minute. There's a lot of nasty crap out there.

those are the dates which are build into the release control mechanism. if your online vendor is telling you another date, they are not correct and havent passed on the information correctly....
That list doesn't any of the south American countries except for Brazil (Peru, Argentina, Chile, etc...)
Do you know when will it unlock for us latin american users? I'm still downloading the game from GamersGate but from that list I'm getting that I won't be able to activate the game at all.

Quoting myself because I didn't get a reply. I need somebody from Bioware to tell us the unlock dates for latin american countries because I can't pass the release date check after installing.

If your country does not appear on the list, the unlock time is Jan 29 at midnight GMT (UTC)

Well I am calling my cc company first thing in the morning. They are my local bank so I will have no problem getting things reversed. Sorry EA but I am tired of the run around. I may only be one customer, but there are many like me. Maybe this was dealt with immediately, but I get the feeling from the thread that there was a fair amount of runaround before this was taken seriously. Combined with the Return to Ostagar fiasco, I have lost most of my faith in Bioware and EA. I will certainly think twice before purchasing anymore Bioware games or buying anything from EA. I know my few hundred bucks a year are nothing, but I demand to receive what I paid for. If I don't get it I am not going to give you a second chance.
