How did you all enjoy this encounter? Do you think it was worth all of Varric's love and admiration?

Was she what I was expecting? No. Is she worth his love and admiration? Of course. You can't help who you fall for.

Thought it was sort of boring really. Maybe if she had stayed a little longer. Hung out at the keep, told some stories. But her time there is si brief it is cute, but at the end of the day just st sort of whatever.

Okay, looking at the sheer amount of things she's done in 2014 alone leaves me wondering when she has time to do anything besides work.

I'd have liked more with her honestly. You can't help who you love, but we didn't see enough of her for me to personally form much of a concrete opinion on her. My Hawke would have probably blown a gasket and gone into protective friend mode, but I just wanted to know more. Particularly since she's the one who led Corypheus to the Primeval Thaig.

I could see her return in a DLC, she did make quite the discovery.

She seemed like a bit of an insufferable smartarse. A master smith, and a master rogue, and a smooth talker with a smart mouth, and good looking etc etc etc.

 

She really didn't make a positive impression on me, but as one of the above posts points out, all the companion quests are lame anyway.

That was what I was sat there pondering during that quest and then I discovered that she's Shin Chan.
