 So i get home all happy with my midnight purchase of Mass Effect 2 that i pre ordered months ago. Rip open the plastic from my case, the new game smell hits my nose and im even more excited. I pull the pre order exclusive codes from the case...... and my heart stops. I must register through ea to redeem the code.

Flash backs of every war i have fought with that website appear in my head. The bugs, the endless loops, the sheer confusion that comes with redeeming anything from EA....... my head drops in dismay. I slowly follow the steps on the back of the card, making sure not to mess anything up. I log into my account i register the codes, and turn on the game. Find my way to the extra content screen........... Normandy Crash Site........... nothing follows. i shake my head in dismay. Another code waisted.

.....but wait! Alas! Maybe all i need to do is register my gamertag to EA. Maybe thats the glich in the system. My heart kickstarts, i rush to my computer again, hopeful, energy anew! log into the ea account ive been using since day one. Eagerly i type my gamertag in and click the link persona button. Time stops as my internet loads for a split second........ Devastation. Faintly i hear the EA gods laughing at my futile attempts. My Gamertag has already been registered to a different email address. The knowledge that i will forever be denied the joys of using the terminus armor and the blackstorm, now haunting me, I log on again to this website to make a plea. Please fix this error. i beg you. Please have mercy bioware and EA, give me a reason not to hate your websites. Don't tease me with promises to reward my preorder with exclusive armor and weapons only to dash my hopes because my gamertag has been registered to an unknown email address forever lost in the labyrinth called the internet. Please answer my plea. I beg you.

Ugh, EA/Bioware really screwed us over on this one. I'm having the same problem linking my EA account and my Gamer Tag, so don't feel like you're the only one getting gypped my friend. Fortunately for me, I haven't had the chance to pick up my copy of the game yet, so I'll just have to patiently wait for some response to this before putting in the codes. But now I feel like I'm never going to get my Blood Dragon Armor because I'm not 100% sure how to link my DA:O to my Bioware Social Account. It seriously hasn't uploaded any of my characters or anything on here like it's supposed to do. Could someone at least help me with this? Thanks.



I really hope Bioware or EA comes up with a way to fix this and not just ignore our desperate cries for help. Maybe this will give the two of them incentive to NEVER attempt to do promotional DLC ever again and end this mess once and for all.

I feel for you man. EA is too desperate for people to come to their bull**** site. I preordered this game because I anticipated it. Now I don't even want to play it because I'm so ****ing pisssed I can't get my Terminus armor because EA is ****ing ****s when it comes to gaming.

Yeah I'm pretty much done. I'm not even going to bother playing it until I can get this fixed, and if I cant then I'll just sell it on craigs list. I'm too tired to deal with this crap.

I KNOW SAME HERE! CAN NOT STAND EA!! On my email address there are like 4 accounts on them and EA won't get rid of old, non-used, outdated accounts because they like to ****** people off. I had a code for one of the promotional items and it said it worked but when I get on my game it doesn't show up! EA is one of the companies that makes me rage because they have the dumbest organization system for accounts, won't delete old accounts under my email that I request, and customer support sucks big B*LL$!! Thanks EA for making my ME2 short of being awesome, Bioware by some miracle if you could get someone else with you for ME3 than EA (or if EA will finally listen to its consumers and change things) that would be amazing.
