I've got about 90 hours in the game and I am on the last plot mission and I've been all over the place in many zones but are there any other upgrade schematics? I haven't found any for my armors. It is still the basic tier 1 schematics I had from the start. I don't really mind that much except they look so bad.

Those are the only ones I have, despite having tons of upgrades for everything else.

There is an unmanned merchant stall in the canyon in the Hissing Wastes you might want to check out. Pricey, but good stuff.

Really? Those are all you've got? Have you ever tried visiting merchants? Many areas and\or cities have at least one with a schematics. Val Royeux, Redcliff, Hissing Wastes are first coming to my mind.  While the variety could be more....well, varied, there are more to craft than those you've mentioned. Also there are plenty of chest-dropped schemes, but I'm not sure whether the chest-drop is random or not.
