As others have said, if you're interested in more than just blitzing through the main story missions, you've barely scraped the surface.

I've reached the typical Bioware "Once you start this mission there's no going back" mission. I don't know how long that final string of missions will be, but - because I've been hoovering up all the smaller side quests and collectibles - I have over 120 hours invested in the game even before I start down that path.

In summary then, the game can be as long or as short as you want it to be. But, however you decide to play, you definitely have the meat of the game still ahead of you.

The final mission is pretty much just a boss battle.

If thats true, I'm actually further along than I thought.  It seems to be about 2/3 complete.  I hadn't ever really paid attention until now.

Well, a I said - it's not 100% accurate, but he does paint more as you progress the plot. If you remember that room had nothing but empty walls upon your arrival.

Yeah, I do.  I hadn't visited with Solas much since originally getting to Skyhold, as he's easily my least favorite companion.  I went in after reading your post, and was like "Woah!"  Perhaps the amount painted can relate to overall game completion and not just to the plot though?  I've spent a lot of time doing things and completing side quests without moving the plot much.

Me too! And it's 2/3 of game for me too... It's really disturbing.
