Anyway, like that test means anything....I feel identified with other 3 or 4 definitions on the OP's image.

I think I read somewhere that horoscopes use a similar way to lure in fools into believing in them.

Sure, we (I study psychology, no ****) call it the Barnum effect (sometimes referred to as 'forer effect'). It's the tendency of humans to believe personality descriptions that seem to be tailored to them, but are actually vague and rather general. It's part of a lot of processes the human mind creates, we always want to believe things that randomly occur, and we always want to see ties between things that really are not connected.

But if you look at

http://personalitypage.com

and look up your type, you will generally find a rather accurate description, much more accurate than the MBTI chart I posted in my original post.

Coincidence or accurate? Or just luck?

That's for you to decide ;)

Hm, turns out that I am Commander Shepard (ENTJ) and this is my favorite personality test on the internet!

(...which doesn't mean much as I still think all of these internet personality tests are complete and utter hokum.)

I'm relieved there is no Harbinger/Sovereign in the personality test result

He/she would be 'the pinnacle of evolution' :P

Based on having taken this test in the past, I am Mordin (which is the 1st character that came to mind when I read the title). Now I'm going to take the test and see if my results have changed since it has been awhile since I've taken the test.

EDIT: And I'm still INTP but I'm closer on the TP part so I could be any of the last row.

Fun tests to take, but not specific enough to be precisely accurate. I apparently am EDI, which I could see to an extent in some respects. Yet at the same time I have also been in leadership roles all of my life and generally start my own organizations that never existed previously, which is more of a Commander Shepard. I wouldn't say I'm necessarily an introvert, but rather I do not see value in small talk and having a lot of acquaintances. I value substance and quality over quantity.

The MBTI uses a 4 factor system to distinguish between 16 personality types.

First it can be argued that these distinctions are arbitrary and overly simplified, so it's no suprise your distinct personnality could be close to several of these templates.

Then, since it's a matrix, there's an intrinsic mathemathical flaw there. You can see that whatever type you end up with there is four other types differing by only one factor and six other differing by two factors. That's eleven out of sixteen (counting yours). So it's no suprise you will find several type's description close to your own personnality.

on the other hand the real MBTI test has way more questions that this very very short version.

In the end, personnality test are an interesting exercise, probably way more useful in clinical studies thanin a job interview (where they should never have fallen). Don't expect it to tell you who you are.

(And now I have proven how much I am a Mordin :-) )

Having taken a few versions of the MBTI for work and (surprisingly) athletics in the past...I usually walk the line between INFP and INTP. So I guess that makes me mostly Liara, with some Mordin tendencies.

Finals are coming up, so especially now, the one-quarter Krogan can be...problematic.
