[Master of the Deck]

So I'm about 70hrs into the game, and while I do love the game and the new environments, I've recently encountered a problem that seemed to start in Val Royeaux.  My character is a male warrior, but in conversations with people, and with Vivianne, I'm referred to as "My Lady".  Everyone seems to think I'm a woman.  This obviously isn't a game stopping bug, but it is somewhat aggravating since I'm obviously not female, it kind of takes me out of that "suspension of belief" that occurs as I roleplay my character. 

 

My main concern beyond that aggravation, is that it may affect any romantic options I might pursue.  That would be upsetting.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Will this be addressed in the first patch (hopefully coming soon)?

This can be avoided by toggling between male and female before creating your character. No help 70 hours in, but for future reference.

So even though I chose a male warrior, at the time of character creation, I need to switch from male to female and back to male to avoid this?

Apparently so, but I have seen nobody reporting romance issues because of this bug.

If you are roleplaying it, just assume everyone is now mocking you.

Yes, at least until a patch comes out.
