I think the eason for the low occurence of elven warrior is that |physically" the elven model just doesn't look the part. Cassandra and Aveline are both S&B warriors and both look much more massive even outside of their armour when compared to the typical elven model.

Only 5% of players EVER played a dwarf in Origins, and with competition from the qunari I think that figure will be even lower this time. I'm certainly not counting on having playable dwarves in the franchise going forward - I love them, but it is a lot of work for something very few people ever use. Elves were more popular at around 18%, the other 80% of Origins characters were humans.
I played a female dwarf rogue first, but I suspect that less than 1% of players joined me.
My second character was female dwarf rogue. I like to play the least kliche characters.
