Just got one.

But someone here said that this ring doesn't do anything.

Is it really a bug? Or maybe he thought that the duration of a barrier was not important (playing a normal mage).

Because with an Arcane Warrior, the duration is actually VERY important.

I will test it now but it is difficult to test.

So maybe one of you guys know this?

BTW, maybe we can list all rings and equipment and abilities that don't do anything (because they are bugged) here

so that people can easily know and find what they should NOT use or spend points into.

BTW: can somebody please explain how armors can cause bleeding ? (what does bleeding here mean)

And how belts can cause staggering?

(I have a 5% stagger belt, What does it mean ?

5% chance that I stagger someone? Or that the staggering I cause is 5% longer / stronger ? )

The ring seems to work fine for me. 10% drain per second (10 seconds) × 1.35 from the ability × 1.3 from the ring equals 17.55 seconds of Barrier. Loaded up a private game and timed it. Seems right.

Yep, works for me. My Keeper can easily stack barriers with that ring and her passives.

I dont have one to test with, but I feel pretty sure your barrier ring does not work with arcane warrior.  It should only work with the skill called barrier, which is exclusive to keeper and elementalist.

Arcane warriors do build and decag barrier. If i ever get that ring i might replace my disruption field one for it. Would be a really tough call.

It's poorly explained in-game, but from what I've heard armor/armor mods that cause bleeding/staggering/whatever have a chance to do so to enemies that attack you. Say you're wearing armor with 5% chance on hit to cause knockdown, this means that every time you're attacked in melee, the enemy that hits you has a 5% chance to be knocked down.

thanks.

And with bleeding? How can an armor cause 11% bleeding?

another question (off topic): I got a unique lvl 22 axe that gives (among other things) + 200% damage from all sources.

What does that mean?? helps my teammates when they hit the enemy directly after me or what?

The armour has pokey bits all over it = causes bleeding to enemies that hit you in melee

The +200% damage thing means that basically, YOU take double damage from enemies hitting you.  Its to offset the other factor of the weapon that gives you a bonus to the damage YOU do.

Inquisition does a lousy job of explaining what things do.

"Bleed on hit %" is supposed to be what is called in about every other game with the same concept "damage return %". It doesn't work though so they can call it whatever they want.

1. Kinda and 2. Yes. I generally highly recommend salvaging anything you find with Berserk on it.

I don't recommend salvaging berserk items. It's such a bad stat right now that if there's going to be any weapon stat balancing this one will probably be the first to be changed.

but it looked so great on first sight ...

who would want such a weapon ?

Because +200% damage actually doesn't mean double damage like someone said,

it means triple damage (!)  :(

is there a difference between the atk and dmg mods on weapons cause ive seen 41% atk mods on weapons which doesn't make sense since a mod with 1/2 that bonus means triple dmg
