So I crafted a "Firm Dual-Blade Grip" which should apply a +18% flanking damage for daggers. However, whenever I go to the weapon mod screen, I'm being told I have "No Grip Upgrades Available" while attempting to modify either one of my daggers with empty grip slots.

Am I being really stupid, or is something broken?

From what I've heard "Dual Blade" is a different kind of dagger, and grips aren't interchangeable between them.

Im guessing your daggers have a different grip style than the ones you crafted.

You can easily figure out which dagger grip schematic is being made by looking at it, but I dont know how to figure out which daggers have which grip type.

Dual-Blade grips only work with AOE daggers, or dual-bladed daggers.  If you dagger damage doesn't say AOE, then the dual-blade grip won't work on it.

simpler method: if it has AOE damage(meaning the icon by the dps is NOT crossed swords) its a dual blade, otherwise its a dagger.  the grips of course actually say what type of weapon they're for(at least for dual-wield rogue)

Ah, thanks for the responses guys. Mystery solved. I knew it had to have been something I was doing wrong. Turns out the icons next to the schematic actually means something. Who knew?

Well, Sir Jessku - Have the tears stopped flowing?

I can never tell which ones of the hafts, hilts, grips, handles and doodads is for particular weapons. When it's cheap, I craft one for testing if it's right. Maybe it's a language thing - it could use a better indicator, though.

If you go to "Crafting" then "Weapon Upgrades" you can examine all your weapons and they'll tell you what slots they have without having to craft things beforehand.

Here's a knifey/daggery type question....

Assassin: Do I always have to have one Inquisition Dagger equipped?

I can equip one better one (can't remember the name of it right now), but only one.

I tried with an identical pair of better daggers, but I couldn't get rid of the other Inquisition Dagger.

Does this make sense?

You should definitely be able to. You pretty much have to select which hand to place the secondary weapon.

You can drag and drop a second dagger into your off-hand slot.  Same with rings, you do not need to have one inquisition dagger equipped.

You should have the option to equip to "off-hand" as well. Not sure what button/key this is for all platforms. There should be a tooltip/ indicator off to the right when you are in your inventory.

D'oh, advice ninja'd ;)

Ok, thanks.

Couldn't find it when I looked earlier, but I'll have another peek tomorrow  :)
