i preordered normal mass effect with xfire.


they gave me 3 different keys.

1) activation/serial key, 2) cd/multiplayer and 3) a just plain key.

it specifically stated that #1 was for instalation activation. what are the other 2 for?

one key is for access to Cerberus and the other is for getting some Special armor and a special rifle

Hi kelmar, could you PM me the contents of that email. I would like to see if there are some improvements we can make for communication to the player. I didnt actually get to see what kind of email xfire is putting out.

This is how the key part of the xfire e-mail looks.

Below is your Activation Key, sometimes called serial number, that lets you install and activate Mass Effect 2 - Digital Deluxe Edition :
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Important : If you change the Hardware in your PC or want to install the game on another PC, you will need to renew your license with your Activation Key. This number is unique to you, do not give it out to anyone or you will not be able to reinstall your game.
For copy protection reasons you are limited to 5. If you need more activations please contact our Customer Support team.

You will find below the various keys that you will have to use after activating your game.
(Please refer to the install guide given at the start of this email in order to know when to use each key).

Your CD Key, Multiplayer Key : xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Key : xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

"CD Key, Multiplayer key" gave access to Inferno Armor, Incisor Sniper Rifle, Zaeed - The Price of Revenge & Normandy Crash Site.

"Key" gave access to Collectors' Weapon and Armor.

Am I right when I assume that CD/multiplayer key is the cerberus network key?
