Bioware banned a lot of cheaters in me3mp so i know they can detect it, but it takes them a very long time to do it. They also banned people for being in the teams of the cheaters like for the infinite rockets so be sure to leave any games where people are cheating.

Improvment of current lobby system. I.e. let us view a pugs loadout and possiblly even their skill tree to see where they have assigned their points.

Also I would like them to take a page out Fromsofts development approach i.e. make the weapons feel different. A two handed great sword for example should have a different animation to a two handed ax etc. (Its a massive ask as it would require a great deal of tweeks to their combat system but it is possible). Also loot mimics! They have made all chests look the same so why not take advantage of it? Instead of summoning some type of guardian why not make mimic chest enemies (will keep players on their toes)

Multi-bind for Keyboard and Mouse keys.

This is (again) something that the Frostbite Engine should be able to handle quite easily considering its been baked into Battlefield games for ages. It has been considered a minimum feature on PC games for the last 2 decades at least. Two bind slots per command/key at the very minimum, three if you feel like being modern.

So true.

Push to talk option on pc along with an option to make people shut up before joining multiplayer. This is my number one beef, and why this wasn't implemented in the first place is just baffling.

No game should have wide open mics by default with no option to mute permanently. It's infuriating to have to suffer through crying babies, mouthbreathing, coughs and utter such annoyances, and having to manually mute everyone (which can only be done once the lobby screen loads in).

It would also be nice to be able to see the loadout on other players like in ME3m, as well as a preview for crafted armor.

1). A healer with all barrier related skills, resurrection, and that super focus healing move Vivian has on one tree and all nature related skills and stone armor on the other tree.

2). A deep roads map with darkspawn enemies, a mountain map with dragon enemies and an adult dragon as the boss (not high dragon, that's too strong), a circle of magi map with blood mage, rogue Templar, and abomination enemies, a wilderness map with barbarian and mabari enemies.

3). Weapon crafting, rune crafting, and special sealed rooms with special animals inside that you can kill for leather, crates with cloth inside, or special wall spots with metal inside.

Only if you stayed for more than one game. They didn't want you wasting your time and consumables with no way of knowing you were entering a game with a cheater.

If it was a cheater who rigged things to award millions of additional credits, however, you were expected to contact support so they could remove them. Ultimately every ban was determined on a case-by-case basis.

Demon Commander balance/rework.  Everyone admits that this boss is head and shoulder above the others in terms of difficulty.

No, DC is fine as it is. It's the only boss in the game that actually needs a strategy and not just mindless zerging. Don't fix something that's not broken.

Nice video, but it is a shield class tanking the demon commander. When there is no shield class, you need to get lucky with latency, be host, or have an ability for getting out of the way of the attack.

While I agree with you somewhat, thing is it's not very wise to go dungeon crawling without a tank. I like how classes have roles and believe it or not, DC is my favorite boss so far. Coordination with your teammates as well as strategy is important in my opinion. They just can't nerf a boss because the players might not have a tank. As a matter of fact, I'd love some more interesting and tactful boss battles than the zerg rush currently. And chat. Definitely chat.

It can 100 to 0 even an armored Legionary if he comes out of the ground in just the wrong place. Something is very wrong with its mechanics as they exist. Its popout needs to be about a second or a half-sec longer after the visual cue. The pop-out damage needs to be examined for code level issues.

They WAY it fights is interesting and doesn't need to be changed. The details need refinement and fixing.

If I am hitting an archer in the face with a great sword, there is no way he should be able to stand there and plug me with an arrow that does 700 damage.

I understand that missile attacks serve a specific purpose for game play, but holy hell. They ought to melee for weak damage like in DA2 or something, or experience some sort of penalty for being hit in melee

I just want a proper auto attack/improved auto target. Getting so sick and tired of swinging at nothing even though I'm hitting an enemy, because for whatever reason the one that I've highlighted through the **** tier PC controls is half way across the map. My current alternative is to stop doing everything for like 2-3 seconds to reorientate my mouse. Pain in the ass when you're a tank and getting wailed on.

Similar issue as an archer or mage where I'm clicking on a guy, but for whatever reason the attacks are missing. I find this is a bigger issue from longer distances/elevated positions.

Why we can't have some sort of DAO style auto attack/target system is beyond me.

Ah, strategy in pugs. Because that exists.

I can't even get the rogue to pick the lock on a door half the time because a lot of people plain old don't care about team work.

Collision detection or whatever it's called needs fixing. Tired of bumping into people and certain terrain and being knocked about.

It's probably not going to happen but some form of character creation would be lovely. Why the developers feel the need to stifle our imaginations and make characters for us I will never understand. It was bad in ME3 but at least I could headcanon something up like name and background. DAI doesn't even give us that. smh

Both of these would be pretty sweet. I hate running around as a butt-ugly Keeper that dedicates herself to sassing the Arcane Warrior whenever possible. Like give him a break his preset is tight gold spandex stuff. But they all look so grumpy and frumpy, it's like the inquisition saved all the happy and good looking people for safer missions. [Apart from the templar, she at least SOUNDS happy.]

It'd be nice if they added character customization that could be set to apply for every class with a load-out preset as it is now [I.E Your warrior / mage would look the same, in different armour with different weapons.] AND a character customization for each individual class, for those that like making each class represent a particular style/look.

I would like to stop getting hosts with poop internet. Couldn't they add a way for the game to detect the person with the best connection and auto promote them as host? that would be awesome.

Without a tank though, you really just have everyone running around the room dpsing the moment he gets out of the ground..

Vint commander.. a level 12 assassin can solo her on threatening.. hidden blades couple times and she is dead..
Reds commander.. a level 12 assassin can solo him on threatening.. hidden blades couple times and he is dead..

Mind you, when I say solo, I mean whilst everyone else holds off the mobs..

As for Crab commander.. finding it hard to get out of his green ring of death fast enough compared to routine.

Seems to me that the PotA bug and everything else you guys are describing are eerily familiar to Battlefield 3 and 4's "netcode" issues. Welcome to Frostbite everyone.

Yeah, this I think is similar to some of the issues that ME3MP had w/ lag - ie, in a low-lag/LAN environment, most of the OHKs (specifically the Banshee's, which had no tell) and stuff like the Banshee warp projectile were fine, however in the real world, you'd get crazy magnet-hands and the warp projectile was nigh impossible to time a dodge since neither of those were actually synced w/ your personal game/graphics. You'd also get into situations where you'd get OHK'd by a Phantom before it did a melee attack (which should be impossible) because you were lagged out enough that it'd do an attack and then OHK you before you saw it. The main thing that made OHKs bearable was exploiting stairs (OHKs could not be executed by the enemies except when the they were at the same z-level as you).

I don't do game netcode myself, but have done a bunch of race-condition/latency sensitive stuff and it seems like allowing some better way of queueing/synchronization for the start of the OHK kill attacks agains internal ticks on the client would be a lot more fair - that way everyone has exactly the same opportunity to see/avoid the DC teleport (you could easily make up any lost-time w/ a flexible followup animation).

I was in a match yesterday where the host was terrible. Like regularly everyone would freeze/lag out, all kinds of rubber banding and power weirdness, doors not opening (really?!?). This is the second P2P MP game Bioware's done, so it's pretty disappointing that they haven't spent time building better connection-quality checking/negotiation. I totally agree w/ automigration, or even giving you your XP/Gold and the option to quit if the host is bad enough. There should probably be some basic checks when you're in the lobby.

Seems to me that the PotA bug and everything else you guys are describing are eerily familiar to Battlefield 3 and 4's "netcode" issues. Welcome to Frostbite everyone.

I was reading up1 on Frostbite 3's netcode after a dev on the forum mentioned they weren't using *any* ME3MP code... DAMP's netcode issues are significantly different from BF4's however. BF4 uses dedicated (vs P2P) servers, and never had the basic connection issues that DAMP has. Sadly you can't run your own dedicated DAMP server (I guess BF2 was the last EA game to ship server binaries?), or even rent one.

Reading some threads it looked like most of the BF netcode complaints were related to FPS lagginess that was eventually addressed by introduction of a "high frequency bubble" which improved significantly improved latency w/ increased bandwidth use (1Mbit up/down for HIGH HFUs). While DAMP has some lag issues (specifically, janky character collision, rubber banding, and some enemy damage stuff like the Demon Commander's OHK), the main issues seem to revolve around weird state desyncs (maybe similar to the Levolution sync issues BF4 had early on), probably due to packet lost and bad checksumming.

The fact that you have no control or information on your connection quality to the host is probably the biggest joykiller for me at the moment. I don't mind hosting, but that seems to significantly increase the likelihood of a CTD. Personally, I'd love to see the network troubleshooting icons that BF4 introduced.

(BF4's fall update post/comments is pretty interesting)

1. Skip map intro

2. Rewarding loot - that is less reliant on buying chests

3. Re-spec funked up builds
