I'm lvling up my elementalist, and I feel like I am always being targeted by all the archers/mages even though my teammate is using war cry on them, etc. Suggestions? SHould I approach the battle differently or something?
Why do enemy kiters not attack aggro inducing players?

Are you firing the first shot, or is it your tank teammate?

Agro is messed up a bit anyways if an enemy is already "locked" onto you. I've noticed that a few enemies will continue to follow you, not breaking agro, when you stealth especially if they are already in an animation.

Ok, yeah, I am usually firing first. Perhaps that is the problem then. Thanks guy!

Ive seen this happen a lot as well. It seems like if an enemy has began an animation to attack you, and you stealth, they still know where you are. Its most noticeable when you see an archer lining up a full draw, stealth, then run circles around him/her while invisible and they are still tracking you.

War cry taunt says it has 4 second duration, not sure what happens after that. If you want less aggro from archers, its simple, let the more sturdy teammates become the target first which will keep their attention for at least the next 5 seconds, or drop firestorm on the archers to CC them.

Bosses will do it too, especially the templar one when he is in his whirlwind thing. I've played a number of matches where my rogue had agro for the entire boss fight, even after stealthing multiple times during various parts of the boss's rotation (and not attacking him at all because of the constant agro).
