Now, normally the game plays just fine. I've been thoroughly enjoying it, just recently beating it on nightmare (not an easy feat!). However, when I took my desktop home with me, I didn't have any easy way to connect to the internet. I connected to the internet just long enough for it to verify that I owned the game (so I could play it offline), but after that I tried exclusively offline. However, while offline, the (single player) game lagged to the point of becoming unplayable. At first I thought something terrible had happened, but the game returned to normal once I had returned to an area where I would have a stable internet connection. I'm not sure if this is some sort of problem, or if there's an option somewhere that could help fix this lag (perhaps something to do with trying to connect to Origin and using up memory?), but any fix would be very appreciated.
