What I mean by this is can we specifically tell the ping not to detect things like Ladders, Fast Travel, certain herbs (or herbs period if you don't want any) and metals (same as herbs), etcetera.
Considering I'm breaking my thumb pinging every step of every area trying to get every Codex entry and piece of loot, it's infuriating when I'm trying to figure out what the f****** ping is and then seeing it's a fast travel door (I'm looking at you Val Royeaux Market doors).

You literally won't miss a single thing other than elfroot if you don't The game makes a sound if you are near something important, and there isn't codex entries just lying on the middle of the ground in the hissing wastes...they're always in a room, on a body, etc. I do think this would be a nice feature that I sadly in all honesty never think is going to get implemented, but please, it hurts my heart to see all these people spamming the ping button...ruining their immersion, and thumbs for some elfroot.
