First off, make sure your email is the same as your xbox live and all that jazz

next follow the instructions on the card.

when it says to sownload you stuff, restart ME2 (save of course)
on main menu, at the bottom it'll say "new content available"

download yoru armor.

voila

Your all welcome:innocent:

Yeah...I'm going to go ahead and have to ask you to turn back time a couple of hours so that we can all stop the intial mistake of screwing up in the first place..

Yeah, and also, I'm gonna hve to ask you to come up with a solution for those of us who've alread ****ed up, mmkay?

Then we'll all be welcome.

(There was no sarcasm, simply a humorous play of Office Space. Thank you.)

Yeah, too bad my XBL account was linked to my Windows Live ID... which is DIFFERENT from my ACTUAL email that I use for online accounts... which means EA ****ed me in the ass in their hurry to get my money and my time wasted.

Yeah, you might want to instruct whichever manager opens tomorrow to tell people about this, or you might have some returns, or even reservation backouts i'm sure. No one likes a pissy nerd customer.

Well I've tried to merge my two accounts, and there's no way to do it that I can find. And I've tried switching the email addresses, but it's sort of a catch 22. Can't switch it to one becaues it's taken, can't switch the other because it's taken too. Also, changing the emails only seems to be for profile purposes, I do not think it will bare any effect on your account as to obtaining the already used code.

Yeah, change your email on the EA side to the one you linked to your gamertag since you can't change the email you used to link your gamertag...ever.  I'm still waiting for ME1 to download so I can beat it so I can start playing ME2.  2:37AM...

Best bet is : Try and delete the accounts if at all possible and start from scratch.

If not, then create a new windows live ID, switch your xbox to that, create an EA account with that, a BioWare account with that, and try to ask the GameStop employees for another code.

Image IPBthis is soooooo stupid but any way i haven't used my code yet but this still angers me. This was a bad idea on bioware and ea's part they need to fix this today

I shifted my schedule so that my days off could be used to play this, yet alas, they will be spent playing mass effect 1 to get a save to transfer my character. C'est La Vie.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels confused. They should have had more thorough instructions on the code card. If this is not fixed within the next 24 hours I'm liable to return my game.

OK well, when you're done with the instructions and it says you're ready to download the armor, it shouldn't give you the option to do it on PC when you're going for the Xbox version, because now I have a useless .exe file on my computer that says I need ME2 for PC and I don't have anything showing up on my Xbox and I just wasted the code. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to get the code back?

Can some one give a link on were you go to redeem your codes?I got the code and all it says on it is "Follow the link to redeem your unique code",doesn't say anything about were you go to put it in,so if any one can post a link that would be helpfull.

I am seeing quite a few requests like this one, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread so that I can keep everyone's information in the right place. Please use the steps in the following link depending on if you are trying to link a Gamertag or PSN ID. Even if you have already done so in the past, please try again.

http://support.ea.co...p?p_faqid=22552
