I have been romancing Cassandra and it is seems to have come to a standstill. I have never flirted with another character. She considers me a friend so my rep with her is good. It just doesn't seem to be going anywhere. My question is, what am I doing wrong? Are their decisions I can make which block her as an option even if my rep with her is good? Example, I sided with the mages and I also am not proclaiming myself the Herald of Andrasta. I haven't said I'm not either. I have left it to others to decide what I am and just tried to help people out. The only person it gives me the option to start a romance with is Dorian, which I find odd bc I have never flirted with him. What am I doing wrong?

You're not advancing enough in the main quest.
Cassandra's romance only take off after you dealt with her personal quest to find the Seekers (Promise of Destruction) and you can only have that quest after you talked to the Warden in Crestwood for the Here lies the Abyss quest (you don't have to finish the quest itself).
