Hello all ViolentSound Here,
I've been playing the game for the past week and I've thought of some cool DLC ideas I'd like to share, and get thoughts on, start a discussion about. Of course these are Just ideas, Im certain that most if not all of these won't come to fruition, but still fun to speculate none the less. Feel free to rip the ideas apart or add onto it.
Note: I have not beaten the game yet. Please no spoilers!
Okay so first DLC idea is called War Torn(or something like that)
Im a bit underwhelmed with the depiction of the mage-templar war and Orlais's civil war. So this DLC will add two new regions to Ferlden and two new regions to Orlais. These regions would focus on the war there. There would be two large regions about the size of Emerald Graves and two small ones about the size of The Storm Coast. I think there should be an over arching story involving both wars, each would take 3-5 hours long, but for the most part the Inquisition is there to sorta put the fighting down and get both sides to end hostilities. Conquering strong holds and performing side quests basically liberating the map, this would essentially end the major theaters of both wars, and later you would rebuild the areas. All in all this would be a DLC to further flesh out these large conflicts as well as learning more about the impact these conflicts is having.
Okay second DLC(Title: For The Inquisition) , and this one is a biggie, maybe require multiple parts. But essentially this DLC has multiple story archs that take you further into Thedas. places like the Free marches, Antiva, Anders, Nevarra and Tevinter. Basically extending your reach to these areas. Could be something that takes place after the main mission or before. But would add even more hours of gameplay. Maybe it would serve better as an expansion.
Finally, the last DLC would be Skyhold-Return to glory. This would be a smaller DLC in scope. Basically just adds skyhold specific side quests to FULLY repair Skyhold, as well add new upgrades to make it a bit larger. I find skyhold beautiful, but the broken down areas that never get repaired negate the beauty, so I would like to see those areas restored fully. Also, itd be fun to be able to build up a villiage outside of Skyhold, via crafting and completing more side quests. After all we need a place to put all these displaced refugees and would add to sort of the roylaness of the Inquisitor. Oh! also, it would be cool to build houses for each of your sqaudmates. These houses would be in the village and would be personalized for each member and if they wanted to go all out, this would unlock a couple more moments, to spend with your crew. Would be a nice way to tie up the story, and give a "and the all lived together happily ever after"
