I loved Solas. He was a really interesting character. 

 

 

I liked Dorian quite a bit, despite having no opinion of him going in. He and my Inquisitor were BFFs. I loved how I could flirt with him all I wanted as a female Lavellan. Made for an adorable friendship.

 

The same goes for my female mage and Dorian; that was her buddy. I would have her flirt with him all the time and he'd approve   . It's so cute when he calls the inquisitor his best friend.

Voted Iron Bull, just because of his stupid dialogue. I mean it. He is the only one that makes me wanted to laugh and bash my head against the wall at the same time at his bad puns. For instance, I'm waling around some frozen place (don't wanna spell it), and all the sudden, Bull says, "Hey, look up." So I did, and see a statue of a desire demon. Then the horned idiot says, "It's giant titsicles!" And I about died. Then, as we're walking through the Emerald Graves, we pass a owl statue and he says, "Hey, owl ya doin." At that point I didn't know if I should face-palm myself or laugh.

On my second play through, this time on hard, doing the attack on Haven.  Failed to save Adan and Minaeve and Bull pipes in almost half laughingly, "Win some, lose some."

 

Ok, I see how it is.  I'll remember that when a certain dreadnaught is sitting off the coast ready to be sank.

 

*as the chargers die horrific deaths and their screams can be heard on the wind*

Solas is fascinating.  And Cole is a sweetheart.  And Cass is a lovely person beneath a grouchy exterior.  My babies, right there.

 

Dorian was fun, and I ended up liking Iron Bull and the Chargers a lot more than I thought I would.

Cassandra was my favorite before i met Sera, but after all the talks i had with Sera, i liked her a lot. She was the most fun person of the bunch, an elf that didn't act like an elf. The party banter with her and Solas was just to funny in my first play through. Now on my second play through i am playing as a female dalish elf, with her and Solas in the party it should be interesting. And besides, she wants to make cookies, inquisition cookies, how can you not like her? lol, anyways my vote was for Sera.

 

This is how i ranked them, although bull was 5th, every time he talked, the things he said made me think James Vega was in my party, yes i know, same voice actor, but the characters seemed the same to me. Surprisingly i had Iron Bull in my party more then i ever had James Vega in my party in ME3.

Cassie, she's awesome when you outfit her right(well all of them are) and arrange her skills to match your fighting(I do not use tactical camera).

Varric > Iron bull > Viv or Dorian depending on the situation. Sometimes Blackwall for change, but Cassie is numero uno.

I did not expect to have Varric rank below as many as there are. I think maybe it's because it just feels a bit off to be his buddy when he's basically a loaner companion.

I voted for Dorian, but I really like some others like Varric (he's less funny than he was in DA2 sadly), Cassandra, Iron Bull or Solas.

For me it was a choice between Cassandra and Dorian and I ended up choosing Cassandra. I like almost every companion with the exception of Vivienne. Cole is also kinda meh but not bad, Blackwall was at first almost as interesting as watching paint dry, but he actally ended up being quite an intriguing character.

Dorian by far, he's awesome, he had loads of great banter. I found him really useful for combat, loved his Necromancer tree and I really enjoyed his romance. Just an all round great character I found

Not that I'm complaining! She is one of my favorite Dragon Age characters and I obviously voted for her, as well.
