Had to vote for Dorian. Definitely my most favorite character. Varric and Iron Bull would be runner-ups, followed by Cassandra. (who is plain awesome as a female. Love the strong female characters!) Solas would come in fifth. Really actually like his character and the discussions you have with him about the fade.

Whether I'm doing a good gal run or ruthless cow, I always take Cassandra. She's so . . .reasonable. Dorian or Vivienne for ruthless cow runs.

My pick was Sera, but it's nice to see Dorian and Cassandra in the lead by a big margin.

Cassandra is definitely one of the very best and most interesting characters in video game history.   :)

Cassandra is definitely one of the very best and most interesting characters in video game history.   :)

And she can be funny. Her finest moment for me was her trying to regain her composure after realizing how much she's exposed herself with her Varric fangirling.

I'm....rather torn on this one between my favourite Seeker and Cole. But in the end I choose Cole. His character is fasinating, and his voice actor and writter did a fantastic job with him.

... voted for Cole !

He is just a great guy! He does not stop to do "the right thing" as best as he knows at least.

I like that a lot!

Sera, but "error returned by server", so not counted.

Although I cycle through companions whenever I feel like it, my regular party is Sera, Dorian and Cassandra.  My least used are probably Solas and Cole: I kinda like them still, but they're a pair of miseries.

Vivienne. Gotta love well written b*tches. <3 (Also every Mary Kirby character except Merrill will somehow always win my heart.)

Dorian comes as a close second though.

It was a choice between Cassandra and Dorian with me but I had to go with Cassandra in the end.  I really liked her quest line regarding the seekers and what she believed needed to happen to the Chantry, but Cassandra really won me over with her fangirling over Varric's trashy novel.

Solas for me. He's solid from a gameplay standpoint because Rift Mage is just awesome and the AI does a decent job with it. He may not have the funniest banter but he has an interesting view of the world, offers insights the others don't, and generally compliments the story more than anyone else.

I went with Bull, but it was really a tie between him, Sera, Dorian, and Cole.  And Cassandra is a very close second.

Vivienne. I've got to respect someone with so much drive and determination and confidence... And just, you know, perfection. She is the ideal picture of what a mage can and should be, and look where it got her. Whereas other mages whine and complain and demand everything while acting like children, Vivienne works for it.

"

Apart from her, Cassandra is a badass with the same amount of determination, with an adorable soft side. She'd hate anyone using the word "adorable" to describe her though.

Iron Bull, Solas, Dorian and Cole aren't bad either. Bull is awesome, Solas is freaking interesting, Dorian has a personality, Cole is weird.

Varric is Varric. He isn't terribly interesting, but I don't dislike him at all. He just doesn't illicit a strong reaction.

Blackwall is a traitor who lost my respect, & Sera isn't right in the head and a hypocrite and a narrow-minded selfish criminal.

Toss up for me between Cole and Varric for me. Really like the banter when they are in the party...  :D

I really enjoy Cole being in my party for this game. Varric had sentimental value due to DA2 and he had a lot to say, definitely, but I find most all of what Cole does to be really sweet or really deep. I would have had Cole in my first PT's group, but he didn't have much room to fit with Dorian, Varric, and Cass taking up my spots. Dagger rogue just wasn't doing it for me then, but I've certainly gotten to see more of him and cycling through my group members has become something I do much more often now because of the party banter he has with everyone.

Very much a 'little brother but not really' sort of feeling for him, especially going the Human Cole route.
