Not sure if this actually counts as a spoiler, but better to be safe than sorry. I talked to my advisers about What Pride Had Wrought at the war table, but I didn't actually start the quest re: spending power points. I went back to start Cullen's quest Before The Dawn and now am at the point where you're supposed to go to the Shrine of Dumat. Only, I can't find it anywhere on the war table. I read online that you should finish Before the Dawn first because it becomes unavailable afterwards. Now I wonder if me talking to the advisers counted as starting What Pride Had Wrought.

 

I'm also romancing Cullen, does it have an impact on the relationship if you don't finish his quest or anything?

If you triggered the cutscene it could have cancelled out the war table missions that become irrelevant once you do that main story quest.
