Assuming Solas was the one who possessed her, as seems to be the case, I suppose this means we won't be seeing her again. Unless of course you let her go in Origins in which case her snarky amulet-clone will be running around confusing aspiring heroes til' the next Dragon Age game comes out. Thoughts? What is her next move? Masterplan? Why does she want Kieran's god soul? Elven gods being real and so on.
SPOILERS FOR INKYSITION........... So... Flemeth...

I doubt Flemeth is gone for good. Mythal, maybe, but I have a hard time thinking DA will ever kill off Flemeth unless they absolutely have to. She just might go back to her 'hag' self, rather than dragon-grandma.

I'm not entirely convinced that Solas is the one that took over in that scene. He does seem to initiate the transfer but it's impossible to tell where control landed. There may be some Jeckyl/Hyde type dynamic going on now for all we know.
I guess we'll find out for sure if the next game includes a scene with Solas finding the protagonist and saying "Well well, what have we here?"

I just realized that Morrigan and DA2 Flemeth both introduce themselves with the same line, and that deeply disturbs me. Thanks.

If it makes you feel any better, I always assumed it was just a character tic Morrigan picked up from being raised by Flemeth.

I saw a Youtube comment saying a piece of her glowiness escaped into the Fade. Or something like that. She certainly had a surprised look on her face when the "possession" started happening.
Solas was left alive, with newfound power as evidenced by his glowing eyes. Flemeth had a shocked look and became petrified... They seemed to trust eachother, as much as one can trust a "Dread Wolf".I hope Flemeth is ok, she is a staple of the DA Series and infinitely cooler than Solas. No offense Solas, hes fine, but he isn't Flemeth.

It's the first line spoken by Morrigan in DAO. She probably picked it up from her mom.
The two most "memorable" Morrigan's lines in her DAO introduction in are replicated in DA2. The other one is "Swoop out of the wild" and it is said by Cassandra once Varric is done with the prologue.

It may just be because I romanced him but after the epilogue Cole had some interesting things to say concerning Solas, which leads me to believe he is the one who possessed Flemeth. Also harkens back to the old elven legends. Solas is basically Loki and I find it hard to imagine Loki getting tricked and posessed by another god.

Solas definetly took over. Go into his room after the game has ended. A painting is finished and it has a Wolf over a dragon with a sword through it

Now I'm picturing Solas' VA saying, to a sarcastic Tevinter hero (or whatever DA4 is throwing at us), "now this one I like."
And that is oddly terrifying.

Solas didn't posses Flemeth, he mearly took the power she had. He was saying that he should be the one to pay for his mistake and not the people. He just put Flemeth to sleep because he needed her power to awake his own. Flemeth is mearly in a sleep like state like the rest of the elven gods were.
The reason the people are paying for his mistake is because they need Mythral now, but not the dread wolf. So she will be back but not for some time. And does anyone else see what this means? I doubt that the Dread wold and Mthral were the only two elven gods to have 'awoken'. That means the elven gods are coming back but for what purpose I can't say.
That also means that Felssan was working for another of the Elven gods, or that he was another one of them himself and was put back to sleep.
