We will see if this comes to be true or not.
It's pretty clear from the 2 tweets.
They targeted the 9th for a multi-platform patch. They will miss the target for all but the PC version.
Which makes sense, as the PC version patch does not need to go through the console certification process.
And I was hoping for Cass, Viv and Sara to keep doing a table dance for me...or at least the bump thingy.
Seriously, though, I expect the patch to address only the major problems..

Ummmm if the patch couldn't go through the console certification process, not sure thats a positive sign.

We don't really know what will or will not be part of the first patch. Allan Schumacher was on less than a week ago talking about how relatively easy 'click to move' in action cam would be to implement. Maybe they already did alot of UI stuff in Nov. and had it ready to go for whenever the 1st patch dropped.

Not for console players, no. More likely it's a 'waiting list' scenario.
I'd expect that the PC patch fixes are very different from what the console patches will be considering the PC version seems to have more problems with crashing, being unplayable, etc. I wouldn't been surprised to see some UI stuff slip in, though anything big I'd think would be in patch 2. Patch 1 probably just addresses being able to play the game.
I'd think the PC will hit first, then PS4/X1 then the 360/PS3. The current gen consoles seem to share some of the same bugs and I wouldn't imagine the code/programming/whatever is all that different on each console so I'd guess they will come pretty close to each other depending on fast MS & Sony want to move.
Qunari hair and armor fixes............ I hope, come on bioware do this at least.

As much as I am desperate for armor fixes, first patch will most likely be stability issues. Perhaps in patch 2 or 3.

The console certification process doesn't mean much for the PC, since PC stability issues are so hardware specific it's pretty much touch-and-go the entire time.

First patch had better have stability/performance fixes ![]()
Having Origin's ingame overlay disabled to keep the game from becoming a powerpoint presentation is not an ideal solution. Especially in multiplayer.
Stuff like Qunari Hair and Armor is additional content and I doubt that those will be addressed in patches (especially if they think they can monetize such things with DLC).
Right now patches are mainly towards the stability of the game which is very very necessary given some of the bugs.

If you want some hairs go over there and support the modders :

Consoles take longer to patch because it has to go through extra QA steps to meet Microsoft or Sony requirements.

So PC players should have to wait because of crap MS and Sony put in place for QA ?! this is beyond ridiculous !
Give the patch to pc players already and please, let the console "peasant" wait on their own !

Umm... what? This is what they're doing so I don't get your post.
I wouldn't hold your breath for better hair in any patch, update or DLC. QoL developments like that are never considered worth development resources....especially post release.
I can't think of a single major game thats ever had hair this bad, that then turned around and added better hairs to help smooth over the half ass job. There just aren't any, even Blizzard, who has more money than God, didn't ever create new hair for their model update, they just updated them to rig to the new models, and swapped a few hairs between races to give people more options.
Main stream developers don't consider hair a priority and they never have.

Um. No. That's not what Bioware was implying. They were implying that patches on *most* systems would be delayed. Most in this case would be the ones that have extra QA steps, i.e. Consoles. They did not say the PC version would be delayed to match the release of patches on consoles.
Brush up on your reading comprehension skills.
Hopefully they release console patches soon as well and it's only this Sony/Microsoft permission delay. I just want to play the game already.
Umm... what? This is what they're doing so I don't get your post.
yup this is what they're doing NOW that they're stuck with console certification. Patch could have been deployed a week ago if not for console QA. They didn't pass certification for consoles, so they decided to release on PC anyway...
Either way, we got screwed again by console fandom ![]()

Leave Blizzard out of this, please.
They did their jobs with the character models which are more animated than the one we have in DA;I.
I mean for examples, they've hair physic or even while you're standing still the finger are animated.
They did their job for their expansion.
Now, we wait for Bioware to do their job.
Really, the last thing you should do is to compare Blizzard with Bioware because at least Blizzard updated their 3D character models and even added hair physics. They added other tuff too, their characters model have better animations than DA:I at the moment. I mean dude, even the fingers move when your character is standing still.
No, Blizzard did their job and worked their asses to bring the new models out at the same time as the expansion.
Also, they fix their FUGGING bugs not just for one game but for all of their games while we're waiting here for the messiah to appear and fix our bugs.
So leave Blizard out of this, please and just support the modders.
So ignoring the free DLC Bioware made to appease fans, as well as the pure fan service citadel DLC they did for fans? Trying to pain Bioware as a worse company than Blizzard is pretty hilarious, and most WoW fans would agree with you. I played WoW for 4 years and people don't view them in that way.
DA:I has been out for 2 ****** weeks. Did blizzard update in that time? **** no.

I am a modder.
Your hostility is confusing.
So we have to wait a bit longer hopefully console patches are not too faraway
