Deafult hairstyle wasn´t very popular to say the least, so they added hairdressers that allowed you to choose between six.

Lets hope they make it so Qunari can actually wear some armors.
yup this is what they're doing NOW that they're stuck with console certification. Patch could have been deployed a week ago if not for console QA. They didn't pass certification for consoles, so they decided to release on PC anyway...
Either way, we got screwed again by console fandom
There's 0 proof this patch was done a week ago. Or yesterday.
Absolute truth.
... but we can also reasonably infer that the PC patch was delayed as part of a plan to get all platforms patched at the same time. When it appeared that the console patches wouldn't pass certification, it's easy to believe that the decision was made to stave off some of the community backlash by releasing the PC patch anyway. I mean, we can't reasonably believe the PC patch was finished just yesterday. Can we?

Have they released the preliminary patch notes yet by the way? Couldn't find any but given that information don't seem to get released on the forums it could be easy to miss.
Those words never belong together.we can also reasonably infer
They have not. I tweeted @dragonage to request a full changelog.Hey they released the preliminary patch notes yet by the way? Couldn't find any but given that information don't seem to get released on the forums it could be easy to miss.

I hope, with the patch forthcoming we will finally be happy, now and forever.
Yep it seems to be persistent from what I have heard. It seems to be bug where armor shine somehow travels to hairs, bears and even lips sometimes. It would be nice if it was patches away.
Shiny bears? Must go search..
Absolute truth.

No, but you can reasonably assume that their QA finished smoke testing the patch on time to meet the Dec 9th date. Consoles did not. The decision might have been "do we really hold up a PC patch for console? No.", but that wouldn't fit conspiracy theories and malicious intent. We all know Bioware wants people to suffer.
I don't have problem hairstyles themselves.. except female qunari.. but the shiny bug seems to be pretty awful. They should fix it and textures this at least:

Looks like melted chocolate.
Why is his beard on his bottom lip?
We don't really know what will or will not be part of the first patch. Allan Schumacher was on less than a week ago talking about how relatively easy 'click to move' in action cam would be to implement. Maybe they already did alot of UI stuff in Nov. and had it ready to go for whenever the 1st patch dropped.
Not for console players, no. More likely it's a 'waiting list' scenario.
The first patch I know one thing it won't address or include : Party Banters fixes.
Wow, that is so bad, I don't even... What is that, PS3? PC on Low?
My guess is PC.
This is Dorian on PS3:

And for comparison XBOX360 Dorian which is ugliest of trio:

Prepare to be underwhelmed. Nothing can fix this game. You will never have a true sequel to DA:Origins. The sooner everyone accepts that and stops giving these liars money, the better.
You're late, the troll bus left the station hours ago.

[b]2Panda[b]: You are kidding, right? This can't be.

The delayed notification, the conspicuous silence on the official forum, and finally the begrudging tweet suggest to me that my version of events might be closer to truth than yours. But you could be right--I want you to be right--but I lost faith in this industry (particularly EA) a few AAA titles back, and it will take some time before I arrive at conclusions that don't include cynical businesses mucking up publisher/developer decision-making processes.

I'm not. Good news is that it's bug/clitch with textures like the shiny bug is too and BW should be able to fix those.. I hope.
I don't know if someone's asked this already: when will there be a patch for Xbox360?
So we have to wait a bit longer hopefully console patches are not too faraway
Hopefully so. =) But, YAY! I will be able to finally log into the PC version without it glitching and crashing after character creation. *crosses her fingers*
