A lot of us share that opinion, the plot holes notwithstanding, and suggested that schematics to make the runes and weapons be added as well as other loot for this egregious run around. I usually just go for spirit and forgo the rest.
This play on hard was just to see how schematics might change from normal -no significant difference, fewer schematics in general, but ones I have pretty good. My first mod may be to crafting after I see what the patch offers. I may still add healing to constitution and spirit healing to fix the plot holes. In any event, start small to understand the DLC functions. I also want to see if Bioware technicians want to work some with the community. I really would like to see the vision for the next generation AI, as we got leftovers.
Well you have to have modded skyrim to really enjoy it, many of the advanced features were not in the original game, intelligent companions, for instance. Having worked with them and play with their settings -priceless. Always the smart ones that stress your system! The last DLC really hacked me off because of the game instability it introduced, but the game so outstanding I had to find a way to make it work -another modder born! Some of the quests from players are so rich that they pale the game in comparison and I still have not played them all.
The same can be said about Mass effect 3. I worked with the writers giving technical support as least until the schism on Dark Energy and that suicide ending was ugly to me for more personal reasons. That said, I first volunteered to test ME3 mods and then learn to use the tools to make the DLC. ME3 mods to change the ending will always be part of my game!
