hybelmygg: she's absolutely gorgeous ... probably the best female elf I've seen.
Kind of reminds me a little bit of Lotte Verbeek from The Borgias/Outlander fame.
Any chance you took screen caps of the CC sliders?

I always forget to cap the sliders, sorry D;

Still new to this whole gif making thing, it's quite challenging to compress them to a decent file size while making sure they still look good
Oh well, time to practice some more~
Just these two. I wish I could use photoshop for gif making but that requires a 32 bit version of PS ><
Endee, you must have created the best looking male elf in the whole community!
Two days ago I finished my first run with a human inquisitor and I got so attached to his charisma and looks that when I tried to create a male mage elf yesterday I got so discouraged by the fact that I just couldn't make him look like what I wanted.
Elves models are hard to work on (at least on ps4)!
Can i ask you if this elf is from a PC version of the game and if you used some mods to make him look that good?
And if not, just how DID you manage to make him look so good? : O

This put such a huge grin on my face it actually hurt a little XD Thank you!
It's the PC version and yeah, pure vanilla settings. As far as I know there are no real mods available yet. As for the how... I swear to the Maker, it only took five minutes of random slider fiddling on my very first attempt at making a character
;
I was in a hurry to get started and I don't really have the patience to tweak every setting to absolute perfection, so it was basically me going "What happens if I randomly move this slider around- oh hey that looks decent enough, moving on!"
So yeah... I guess I just got really lucky with him. And I love him to bits, couldn't be more happy with how he turned out! I did not save his sliders unfortunately, which I regret greatly because I tried to recreate him yesterday and... he pretty much looks the same at first glance, but there is something off about him and it bugs me to no end. So I'm holding off my second PT with Taerel until there's some sort of an official/unofficial face import export save thing available that I can use.
But anyway, thank you again! And good luck with making your elf
I'm sorry I can't be of more help here.

Oh, that's a damn shame! And you're quite welcome : D
Tell me, could you be able to at least remember which one of the five base models you picked?
I always pick the first but I'm starting to think that it's not the wisest choice for what I have in mind (which is familiar to what you created).

I'm pretty sure I used the first preset that shows when you pick elven male, and then used the... third of fourth head I think? Changed the eyes and heavily tweaked the nose bridge to curve more gently. I'm not sure if I changed the mouth though, I don't think I did but I can't be sure (tweaked it though). I did fiddle with most of the sliders so yeah... there are plenty of different angles of Taerel's face in the Inquisitor thread you can use to sort of reference the cheek bones and the like if you need to. I posted so many screens of him lol.
Like a boss dwarf

She's gorgeous!
I'm a nub. I don't know how to make gifs, but I have tons of videos. Any and all guidance would be much appreciated. ![]()

I personnally use Photoshop CS5. I found a great tutorial here and I think it explains quite well how to make a gif
You'd have to download Quicktime first in order to import the video into layers.
If your videos are on the longish side, I suggest shortening them with a tool like Windows Live Movie Maker. The only downside with WLMM is that you have to change the format of the video (I use FormatFactory which is free and very complete) since .wvm files are not supported by CS5.
Hope that helps ![]()
Hid that one because of the size (sorry I miscalculated D:)
And I hid that one just to be safe; I'm not sure whether it can be considered as a spoiler or not. It's from the quest 'A friend of Red Jenny'

I use fraps to record videos, then I just import them into photoshop and edit them there D;
@hyblemygg: You make some really awesome elves!

Thank you! I seem to have an addiction to making elves these days, hah.

Pardon my noob gif skills. I still don't know how to edit them to have less frames or make them tinted. *has old PS CS5, not PS CS5.1*
What the hell, never seen this part of the game. When does this happen?
Oh that's the Josephine romance quest. Last gif is if you don't tell her that you love her, she breaks up with you and then you choose the bottom option.
Shake 'm, Josie!

Well, that certainly explains why I've never seen it. I was very confused. XD
